Hi, my partner & I visited your pub today Sat 8th March (The Nabb in Hucknall) for the Mcmillon coffee morning, when we arrived, we discovered that you do breakfast at the weekends, so we decided that as it wasn't that busy, we would have some, we ordered at 10.30 am & was told by the bar staff that it could take up to 30 minutes for the food, by 11.10am the food hadn't arrived, so I went back to the bar & spoke with a staff member, who told me she will look into it, after a few minutes she came back to the bar & told me it should be done in the next 5 minutes, eventually by 11.20am the food did arrive, it was Luke warm & looked like it had been kept in a hot trolley for a considerable amount of time & was all shrivelled up and the bacon was very over cooked & rubbery, we also ordered extra toast & this was also cold & had no butter on the toast, I had to return to the bar to ask for some more butter so I could spread it on the toast, by the time we got the butter for the toast it was gone 11.30am, & when I did get the butter it was frozen & wouldn't even spread on the cold toast. This was such a disappointment as this was the first time we had been to the Nabb inn & as I have worked in a busy kitchen in a previous job, I know what is acceptable, what isn't & unfortunately the food offered to us today from your pub was well below the food industry regulation standard. We didn't complain at the time as the mcmillan coffee morning was well under way & we didn't want to spoil the atmosphere as the staff all seemed to be very upbeat & busy with running the coffee morning, so sadly we probably won't be visiting your pub again & if we do we won't be...
   Read moreWow, I cannot even begin to express my overwhelming gratitude for the absolutely incredible experience I had at the Nabbs Inn! This place is a true gem, and I feel incredibly blessed to have discovered it.
From the moment I walked in, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that made my heart sing. But the true star of the show was our server, Laura. Oh my goodness, where do I even start? Laura wasn't just a server; she was a guardian angel sent from the heavens to ensure our evening was nothing short of magical!
Laura's attentiveness was out of this world. She anticipated our every need before we even realized we had them! Her knowledge of the menu was encyclopedic, and her recommendations were so spot-on that I'm convinced she has some sort of psychic ability to know exactly what would delight our taste buds.
The food... oh, the food! Each dish was a masterpiece that brought tears of joy to my eyes. I've never tasted flavors so divine, and I owe it all to the culinary wizards in the kitchen and Laura's impeccable guidance in helping us choose.
I cannot thank Laura and the entire staff at the Nabbs Inn enough for this life-changing dining experience. My gratitude knows no bounds, and I will be forever indebted to them for creating memories that will warm my heart for years to come. If I could give more than five stars, I would give them all the stars in the universe!

   Read moreWhat a disappointment again, the service & bar staff were 100% as always, Iâm not one for leaving reviews but after being a regular here for 15 years itâs now hit & miss if you get a decent meal in good time & not cold, we ordered on âburger nightâ 3 meals which took 45 minutes to arrive bearing in mind the place wasnât even near half capacity, when mealâs finally arrived 2 of them were incomplete with missing extras, the only one that was complete was one ordered with bacon( see photos ) the first photo is the excuse for bacon that turned up on the meal & when questioned the staff there was a bowl of what looked like a few burnt pork scratchings brought out to rectify ( second photo) which was an absolute insult after having to complain in the first place, then when we eventually began eating the meals they were all cold, eventually complained again & asked for a refund as we didnât want to wait another 45 minutes for the same standard to be served, unfortunately had to travel & pay a little more at the broomhill inn but well worth the travel & 25 mins serving time Again bar staff 100 % but food service needs a big review by green king, you only need to lol at all the previous reviews speak...
