Seagull Fish Bar Pizza & Kebab — Restaurant in Ashfield

We've used Seagulls many times over the years, mainly for Pizza, which we've never had a problem with. Just recently we tried their fish and chips, so ordered online to include delivery, strangely unlike the online pizza order, it doesn't give the option of when you would like delivery, so i made the order and then rang with a time that was best for us...not a problem, arrived at the time i asked for and all was well. This week, we thought we would do the same again, so made the order then rang and spoke to a lovely chap told him what time we would like delivery..not a problem ill sort that for you. Within mins of speaking to that guy, i received a call from Seagulls, different chap this time, advising my fish and chips were ready, this was just after 5pm, i wanted delivery between 6.15- 6.30, so i said id already asked for delivery at 6.30, his response was well they are ready now and will be cold by 6.30, so we will deliver now, i said well they will still be cold at 6.30 which is when we want them for if you deliver now and i wanted to keep our delivery at 6.30...his response to that request was that i shouldn't make an order online...then wait 10 mins before calling to say what time i want delivery, i told him this wasn't the case to which he agreed to deliver at our time and put the phone down. Considering this guy is dealing with customers on a daily basis his attitude was rude and arrogant...and after all of this the meal arrived 15 mins late!! Time to find...

DONT EAT HERE PLEASE. This has to be the worst chip shop in Nottingham with the worst service, not only after receiving uncooked black chips with a battered fish that had half the batter stuck to the wrapper was I unsatisfied with the standard of food sold to me. so I naturally rang to complain an ask for fresh food (a replacement) because the food was not to standard I was told " I have no taste" an that know 1 else had complained, I tried to explain the chips were black an fish had no batter on it practically as it was all stuck to the wrapper I was then told if I wasn't happy don't order from here ever again my request for a refund or a replacement was ignored. I then became frustrated an had to tell him I will call environmental health an the police an my bank to get a refund because I was being ripped off I had paid for food that was cooked an fresh. I was then called bro which really aggravated me so I had to tell him he's not my bro as my brother would never serve me food like this eventually after having the phone put down on me repeatedly put down on me they agreed to replace my food but I will not eat here again an I was ADVISE ANYONE NOT...

Absolutely appalling ordered a pizza just one and they got it wrong I made my own and when it arrived it was full of peppers and sweetcorn what I don't eat I sent it back I then rang and asked them not to bother sending another one out as was too late he then kept saying it will be there in 2-3 minutes I told him several times that the pizza had already arrived but was wrong so I don't want a replacement but he just wasn't listening I ended up putting the phone down on the end due to getting irritated he then rang me back and said don't put the phone down on me its not nice well I'm sorry but maybe if you stop talking and actually listen to your customers then they wouldn't feel the need to hand up on you... I will never order...
