Rani Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Ashfield

Preordered food delivery at 3pm for it to be delivered at 7:30. At 4pm we were advised it would be 20 minutes late so delivery due for 7:50 this isn't a big deal as its only 20 minutes. We have already paid at this point as we're forced to pay when you place the order.

It is currently 9:05pm we left a phone automatically redialing their number and it has been trying to call them non-stop since 8:15 and not once has it gone through so it must be off the hook and they just dont care.

We've had zero further contact from Rani's at this point and have instead opted to chuck some pizzas in the oven as we can't rely on this food being delivered. Absolute nightmare on Christmas eve especially as we had been given a delivery date that had already been pushed back and still hasn't shown up over an hour and a half after it was supposed to be here. Will not be ordering again

Update at 9:50pm still not arrived currently phone has attempted calling them over 500 times straight but not once has it gone through confiming that the phone is definitely not down. Ridiculously bad service especially on...

This is the worst experience I have had eating at any restaurant it took us 2 hours for us to get served starters!!! (of which we were basically told what we were going to eat by the waiter named Roy and felt like he was forcing us to eat what he wanted us to eat) the drinks which we were served were lukewarm when served to us. When they bought us the food it was like something I could of bought from a supermarket put on a silver tray which yes while they did taste ok I think it was more the fact that I was hungry more than anything else. This is an excellent Indian restaurant in the village of Huthwaite,situated on the market place with parking directly opposite... it's very popular within the local community and gets very busy, especially on the weekend. I've been coming here for a few year's now to meet up with team mates from a local football team I played for from the past, just for a meet up now and again... It's perfect and ideal for this sort of occasion... It's a good idea to book a table in advance, as it's certain to be busy, especially on Friday's and Saturday's...
