February 2025: this is the third vegan/plant based pizza I've ordered from Domino's. No problems with the first 2, however, today the pizza was disappointing. I suggest that a new quality checker is found as this one was obviously blind to the few pieces of real chicken on a plant based pizza they couldn't see. Whilst I understand Dominos don't care about cross contamination, as they warn about it, there is no excuse, when it's quality checked before being sent out, to miss a few pieces of chicken on a plant based pizza. To be honest if following basic food hygiene guidelines for food establishments, I'm not sure how a few pieces ended up on there in the first place. This could be easily rectified by using separate gloves, even separate areas and placing the pizza up high so non vegan ingredients can fall onto it. Very disappointed. I don't think I'll bother again. I'll order from elsewhere. It's such a shame Papa John's went as I never had this issue there.
December 2024:First vegan pizza here. It was really tasty and clearly vegan. The Italian base was really nice. Unusual seasoning, but it really worked. I'd order it again. The chips were a bit disappointing but the pizza made up for this. Speedy delivery too. Great...
Read moreI recently visited Domino’s for a quick bite and left genuinely impressed — not just by the food, but by the warm and welcoming service. The pizza was everything you’d hope for from Domino’s: piping hot, generously topped, and cooked to perfection. But what truly made the visit memorable was the service from the lovely waitress, Oliwia.
From the moment I walked in, Oliwia greeted me with a genuine smile and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout my visit. She was attentive without being overbearing, offered helpful suggestions when I couldn’t decide on sides, and checked in just the right amount to make sure I had everything I needed.
In a fast-paced chain like Domino’s, it’s not every day you come across someone who brings that level of care and friendliness to the job. Oliwia truly elevated the whole experience. It’s small touches like that — friendly service and good energy — that turn a simple meal into a positive memory.
Would definitely return, especially if...
Read moreHad the restaurant almost to ourselves, but it was a rainy Sunday lunchtime so maybe to be expected, but the service was faultless. We had had a 9 year old who didn't fancy a curry for lunch, so had chicken nuggets, peas and chips, the portion was large but she did her best!
The rest of us had starters, top marks went to the Prawn Puri, and the Hot Meat (Lamb I believe) Puri, which lived up to its name, but wasn't too spicy. The Chicken Dopiaza and Passanda also got good reviews, but the Tilapia curry was a stand out, the sauce didn't overpower the delicate fish, and the Bullet Chicken got a rave review, although the comment that "it wasn't that spicy' could have been teenage bravura!
Drinks included a couple of bottles of Pinot Grigio and a couple of Kingfishers.
All in all a great meal and reasonable value for 4 adults and a child, including drinks. Will definitely visit again next time we're passing....
