I was more than happy with the cafe! The menu was varied and interesting with a large specials board too. We went for breakfast and I had toast with sausage and bacon. My husband had a breakfast bap with sausage and egg. Everything was beautifully fresh with the produce coming from Colemans. No complaints apart from one barky dog. Am all for dog friendly establishments but people do need to respect others too alongside their canine friends. Can recommend.

Excellent! Service with a smile. Very clean with ample seating and tables for many folk. Three of us on motorbikes and no problem. The liver and bacon on a potato cake was absolutely superb. Will be stopping by again.

Xmas Eve Breakfast. Good filling breakfast, very friendly service and for a little extra a decent present and chat with our son from the man in the red suit. Covid guidelines in place, felt safe.

Ok let me first say we have visited the barn previously and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Today a Sunday I went with three other adults for breakfast. We were shown to our table and ordered our food and drinks. The drinks subsequently arrived and our wait started. I appreciated there was a christening party. Their food appeared to be buffet style and already prepared. As for other drop in customers there weren't that many. It took over an hour for our breakfast to arrive and this was after asking two separate members of staff how much longer it would be. Our coffees and teas had long since gone and there was no offer of refills. 3 of us eventually recieved our food but after another 5 minutes I had to ask again where the fourth meal was. This was only eggs on toast. As for the food itself, as always it was very tasty but luke warm. On paying the bill I did ask to speak to the manager but there wasn't one. There was a sorry but i was charge full price for a very very below par service. I appreciate everyone has a bad day and things happen beyond our control. However it would of made a huge difference if we had been spoken to and the delay explained and possibly an offer of a...

We had a lovely breakfast today Sunday 10/8 with ours friends we very kindly won a voucher at my granddaughters Nayland Primary School raffle, although we had eaten there before so knew it was nice. A first trip for our friends who throughly enjoyed it so we plan to go back in a couple of weeks with a few more guests. A lovely young lady on the till who took our order and payment i didn’t see her name but was a lovely young girl, gave our dog a treat 🐕‍🦺😉If i could make one small suggestion perhaps don’t put the butter on the warm plates it was liquid by the time it was to be spread not a complaint just a note. Thanks again for donating the voucher it was very much...

Ordered poached egg on avocado toast. Eggs where a bit watery and cold, far to runny yolk. The avocado was most definitely not fresh and had a very sloppy and slimy texture, must of been out of a jar. Didn't taste nice at all and an absolute rip off at nearly £11 for essentially 1 slice of toast, processed avocado/guacamole and 2 eggs. I asked the waitress when she collected our plates was the avocado fresh as it didn't taste right, she just shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know about that", unhelpful. Used to be really nice food so massively disappointed. The other members of staff where all...
