My visit today was somewhat disappointing . On my arrival i was ignored by the counter staff who seemed to be engrossed in a conversation between themselves. I tried on numerous occasions to attract their attention, however they seemed oblivious to my presence. However I finally managed to get their attention after a crew member pointed out that I was there ( my thanks to the crew member for showing good service skills). I asked if they were open for trade and was subsequently advised that there was a technical issue with the restaurant's tills which was preventing them from accepting orders. While I found this explanation to be acceptable I did question why there was not a notice on the door to advise customers of the issue . To me this would have been a good idea and would have prevented me from wasting my time trying to get their attention. I do hope that the issue is resolved sooner...
Read moreI’ve no idea what happened today but the food, the service was absolutely spot on, and the staff were all smiley and happy too !
I have complained before so only right to point out the great stuff too.
I was a drive through customer greeted with cheery staff to take my order at the order point, then at the pay desk a happy smiley guy telling me how lovely the chilli cheese bites are then to the pick up point where I was asked to wait round the corner and my food will be out asap normally I’d be waiting in excess of 5 mins..I was given my drink and sauces with a smile and it just felt very elevated atmosphere and happy.
I went to park, took one sip of coffee and the food was there with an apology for the delay and a smile :-)
Got home - food was still piping hot, well presented, fresh and delicious.
It’s never just about the food, the service makes it all worth while...

However, this meal was FAR FROM happy. My children were shocked and appalled by the pale coloured, soggy "french fries" and the "chicken" nuggets. My father owned a farming business back in the day, and I can guarantee you there was no chicken in those pieces. Me and the children left the building immediately after taking a bite, and sped down the motorway never to...
