KFC Billericay - High Street — Restaurant in Basildon

Been here thrice since moving into the area, and usually order the sharing buckets. I’ve really no complaints about the staff, who are friendly and helpful (apologetic when food is delayed {another issue, but let me not digress}. The ambience is for a typical walk in-walk out place. My chief problem is with their food! The food was good the first time, fair the second and absolutely HORRIBLE the third! Weirdly-cooked chicken, mushy and horrible in the middle, and completely TASTELESS all the way through! Unbelievably so! Not even the crispy coating had flavour! A complete waste for the whole family. Would rather drive down to the Brentwood outlet, at this rate. Fix it please!

I visited KFC yesterday, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me warmly and made me feel welcome. The ambiance was clean, cozy, and perfect for a quick meal or a casual hangout.

I ordered the classic fried chicken combo, and it didn’t disappoint. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with that signature blend of herbs and spices we all love. The sides—especially the fries and coleslaw—were fresh and flavorful, complementing the meal perfectly.

Service was quick, and the staff was attentive, making sure everything was to my satisfaction. Overall, it was a satisfying visit, and I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m craving some good fried chicken!

I had ordered dinner for my daughter from KFC Billericay, via the Deliveroo app. I waited for an hour and a half with the status toggling between 'Waiting for a Rider' and 'Rider being on the way to the restaurant'. Then all of a sudden, I got a message that the order was cancelled. I may get a refund for the same. However, that is not the point. At the end of a long day, if the experience is that my daughter should go to bed on empty stomach because an International restaurant cannot keep up their delivery promise, then no amount of money can compensate this disgraceful experience....
