Pizza Go Go Basildon — Restaurant in Basildon

After being a very loyal customer here and only ever having Pizza from here. Never having an issue and always enjoying the food. I had an issue with a delivery driver resulting in cold food. Called the shop to try rectify this as never had an issue before. Was told when I order next I will get a discount for the inconvenience in way of an apology of the delivery driver (who would rather have a cigarette than deliver food on time and give cold food), and all was being noted down for future record. Couple weeks go by, called to order and mentioned the issue previously, to be told this was not on record? And needed to be investigated by the boss? And to wait and when I call to order this will be sorted. Called today to order, again mentioned the previous issue, to be spoken to rudely and accused of having called multiple times already about it? When I only called 1 time when it happened and 1 time to then place the order and today. The man on the phone was rude and said there is still no record of this, and still needed to be investigated and nothing was going to be happen and to call again tomorrow when the boss is in again? The man was quite rude and did not want to listen to anything that was being said. Such a shame as was my favourite and go to Pizza place. If you ask for something you expect it to happen. Very stingy on topping. I really think their any size and pizza deal is a con. I'm sure it's the same quantity of topping regardless of size of pizza. Pizza base is fresh but too bready and dull. Going to try dominoes next time.

Update: Having not used them for 2 years I had hoped in that time there would have been a change in management. I ordered 2 pizza and sides. On arrival only one pizza was delivered. I sent everything back so they could correct the error. What's the point in only having one pizza and waiting another 45mins for the one they forgot? Anyway, the order was re-cooked and sent to me. Total delay 1 hour 30 mins. They still got the order wrong. Asked for a create your own. They forgot the onion and gave green pepper instead of green chilli. Clearly need an education on paying attention to detail and in English. Won't ever use these clowns again. Will go and get ready made pizza in future from Asda. Save money and...

Nice pizza but PLEASE stop feeding the pigeons your left over pizza bases. I have seen your workers throw cut up bread outside your shop to feed them. While you may think you're being kind to them, This row of shops has a very bad pigeon infestation. The floor outside is always covered in pigeon shit. I have literally had pigeons fly into me while walking outside this shop. The pigeons you feed are not normal pigeons. They are city pigeons full of diseases. There would be no difference if you was feeding rats. You are causing vermin to shit all over your pizza shop. PLEASE stop feeding them or you will make your customers ill!! I have reported this and hopefully a pest control/hygiene inspector will come soon as I just can't stand the infestation of birds at this place.
