Smash Burgers & Wings — Restaurant in Basildon

Placed an order via deliveroo at 3pm for a schedule drop off for 5pm. Near 6pm the food turns up... so abit frustrating as the cause of delay makes no sense as they had a 2 hour prep window.

I went for the Mac double smash burger overal the burger was great but it was lacking some seasoning and it needed more sauce.

The wings had no flavours I tried the Korean and Mango and both tasted very bland which was disappointing as the wings looked great.

The loaded chips was delicious. Chunky chicken pieces, good amount of cheese and a great burger sauce.

Ordered garlic burger, fries and garlic loaded fries.

Portion of loaded fries was very small but my partner said it tasted okay. The burger was stale; I opened it to add lettuce at home and noticed a funny smell so I put it to my nose and could clearly smell the meat was off. I took it to my partner who confirmed odour was off, took a picture for uber eats and then binned it.
