Lovely looking place...nice welcome at the door. My mum asked for a coffee but nice and hot. They said they would have to 'nuke it' which i thought was odd. Ordered an americano coffee with cold milk (it came with hot milk added)
Food was presented beautifully but I didn't feel it was value for money (side salad was one lettuce leaf, one cherry tomato cut in half, one slice cucumber. And approx one heaped teaspoon of coleslaw.
The cheese and spring onion toasted panini was actually the cheese and onion mix that you get in mayo in cold sandwhiches normally and was pretty grim when warmed up. I ate one half so my mum wouldn't feel bad as she ate her sandwich which she enjoyed. Crisps on the side were prawn cocktail flavour so they were also left.
Im really not a fussy eater, but I do think that the menu should accurately describe what you are going to get. Especially when it comes to allergens. I did mention it to what I assume was the manager but was told I was the only one who didn't like it!
Pretty looking place but definitely wouldn't return and would advise anyone with any allergies to be very careful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently celebrated my birthday at The Little Teacup and had the most wonderful experience! The place itself is so lovely ā charming, cozy, and beautifully decorated with such a lovely ambiance. From the moment I made the booking, everything was stress-free and smooth. Sarah was an absolute gem to deal with ā kind, helpful, and so easy to communicate with.
On the day, the entire team was incredibly attentive and caring. The service was excellent, and I couldnāt fault a single thing. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. It really felt like every detail had been thought of and handled with care.
I had such a lovely time celebrating with family and friends. Everyone commented on how special and warm the whole event felt. Thank you so much to the whole team ā you were all so kind and made the day truly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood was nice but smaller portions than anticipated. E.g 'Scones' on the menu for a cream tea was one scone. Crisps served with sandwiches is in a very small ramakin. Food is cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for portion wise. Cakes were opposite - huge portions and great value for money. Service - mixed. Staff were really friendly. Can't fault that. But attention to detail ( e.g when they brought over another pot of tea, there was no room on the table, so they pushed back the old empty pot, rather than clearing?) Our cakes were served on the table with our empty food plates from before. Not the most child friendly. No child options on the menu and glass cups...
