Ordered a pizza on 8/3/24, via app from Dominos Tadley, delivery estimated to take around 25 - 35 minutes. After 1 hour - and no show of driver, I called Tadley Dominos and the staff said the pizza was on its way, but they couldn’t contact the driver to find out an ETA. I asked how long ago the driver left, and they said about 30 mins ago. I expressed my concern about whether the pizza would still be hot, their reply was that I should wait until delivery - and if that was an issue I should call back. Another 30 mins goes by - and still no pizza. I called again, and again was told the driver was on his way - but they had no means to find out an eta. I asked if they surely had a phone - so the staff said they would get in touch and would call me back and hung up the phone on me (never even took my number - they obviously couldn’t be bothered dealing with a complaint and just wanted me off the phone). 2 hours have now passed (I have now given up on the prospect of a Friday night takeaway) and still no sign of the pizza or driver. I called again, was still told the driver was on his way (I don’t live that far from the shop) however at this point I just demanded a refund - and was told it would be processed in 3/4 days - and if it hadn’t come through in that time - to call again and speak to a manager. They also refused to acknowledge the refund via email or text. The whole experience with Dominos at Tadley was a farce. The staff unhelpful. I won’t be ordering...
Read morejust went here to pick up my pizza after calling first to explain the app wouldn't let me select cash. i explained and asked if i could pay when i got there, they said that was fine. when i arrived they said they didn't take cash. i had driven from kingsclere so not a short journey. They basically said that they didn't say what they said and there was nothing they could do. so now i have no pizza and this will be a 40minute round trip. I have ordered here for years and never complain about anything but really unhappy.EDITED TO ADD I dont mind you are cashless (although that in itself is annoying) it was just so frustrating to be told I could pay cash on collection and do a 40 minute round trip to be told I can't when I arrived. Also annoyed you didn't own the mistake, I imagine you misheard what I was asking and just said yes as it was a bad line but just say hands up I made a mistake, don't try and say I didn't ask when I called twice to first check the app allowed cash on collection (went through whole order to find out it didn't) then called back to ask if I can pay cash on delivery and was told yes. Fathers day i knew i had a credit to come so i thought id get a pizza with my daughter who is 4 years old ordered it got there to collect and they forgot to cook half my order which i had to wait 10mins for and to top it off the lady making the pizzas starred at me like i was some sort of #### so i sat down with my daughter waiting and all i could hear was swearing none stop which if i was on my own i wouldnt of really cared but as my 4 year old daughter listening to them they didnt seem to care there was a infant in store and just blasting there gobs off.
