We had a lovely walk around Clumber Park on Thursday 29th Dec 2022 and a delightful snack from the snack bar at the far end of the lake. We were looking forward to a more substantial meal at the end of our walk at the Clumber Park Restaurant (Checking first the opening times - until 5pm). We checked the restaurant menu but only found "snacks" to be available so we decided on the turkey bap for us all. When we tried to order (at 3.07pm) we were told that the kitchen had now closed!!! The only food being refridgerated sandwiches, sausage rolls and cake!! We made do with hot drinks and cake - we were asked if we were sitting inside or out - we said we inside. However we were still served our drinks in paper cups! A totally dissapointing and misleading experience - perhaps the NT need to review their thoughts on what a...

Awful !! disabled parking not near to facilities /cafe , no disabled toilets in the cafe also we couldn't find the cafe ! Had to ask 4 people signs not good enough, as we hadn't been for 15 years. and what is really sad is that you can't pull your car into the grassy areas they have been blocked off for able bodied people but if your disabled you cant get to those lovely areas and can only pull off the side of the road now . Today the card machines weren't working and we should have been informed at the entrance as we had limited cash and could only afford a drink so had to leave early . All national trust want is your money and that is now apparent with the shops and restaurants but what about taking a picnic and parking in a lovely secluded spot those days are gone now at clumber park sadly ...won't...

Awful! It will be a struggle to describe just how bad this food was but here goes – I had the spicy cauliflower and potato parcels with green salad for £7.95, which turned out to be two burnt, bland, near empty filo pastry triangles, served with a table spoon sized lump of what I’m going to guess was steamed greens and onion, all floating in an excessive puddle of mint yogurt. If it was listed and priced as a light bite I might simply have been bitterly disappointed, but as one of the more expensive main meals I am staggered by the shamelessness of whoever conceived and cooked this. My companions fared only slightly better with their charred & collapsed quiches, and a sloppy chicken salad. To be serving food this bad in such a setting is such a...

Well I can only give this the three stars. Food is quite expensive for what's only described as posh school lunches, with ambience of a canteen cross country house. The staff are pleasant enough and quite efficient, with a view across the grounds to the lake (dependant on what part you are in). On the other side of the coin, there is a section that you sit indoors with your dogs which is a great idea when out in the wind and rain.... The food though as explained is quite costly, with big ideas of menu and produce used. Just the taste let's it down, with little seasoning and just doesn't back up the price. Just a little more work on the flavours with a touch more thought on the design of the building and it could be quite good.

Not impressed with the food choices at the café, especially hot food, or the price of the food. Cutlery was not readily available to self serve, but then we had to ask for some cutlery when our food was brought out. There was a bit of a mix up with our order as our original choice was not available, but instead of just adding in our replacement choice the server scrapped order one and messed up the second order meaning that I needed to go to the counter three times to sort things out. The quality of the food served wasn't great either. Overall, we will visit Clumber Park again but not the cafe.

I have NT membership, so this place is a no-brainer. Really easy to find off the A614 and a lovely drive through the park to get to the entrance of the park. Its been really nice this season, the wildlife is amazing! Very tame. My two boys were feeding squirrels practically from their palms. We walked for what seemed like ages and still didn't reach the end. Grounds and estate are fantastic, considering its 45 mins from Nottingham and about 25 from Mansfield, its perfect. It's only about 15 mins from the A1, so great if you're coming further afield. You want be disappointed.
