A fantastic stop off when travelling along the A1. Avoid the Markham Moor services and go here instead for tasty home cooked food and friendly welcoming service. I had the amazing Chorizo and Tomato Hash and it was superb. Desert was lovely too, so tasty. The food is not bought from mass market suppliers and the team are so friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend highly enough and will be back with my family.

Wonderful little place. We stopped by this morning, and both breakfast and lunch items were available all day. Had the coronation chicken and it was a hearty portion - bigger than expected, and bigger than most places! Waitress was incredibly friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Had one of their 'chicken giros' as I called it and it was very good, did recommend to Lou Lou when she asked me if it was ok that the chicken be cut into smaller pieces.

Great little place to enjoy breakfast or light lunch. We had two breakfasts the food was generous, hot and served with a smile. Their coffee is really good and my wife had a generous pot of tea. Their menu is wide ranging but at the same time concise so your not overly presented with all sorts of options, simple with good range of offerings. All in all a really good experience. Wheelchair access is good but some of the tables are quite close together so may cause a problem. Will certainly go again when...

I love the shop. It has that authentic cafe appeal to it as you walk in. The menus on a old style chalkboard, easy to read and great selection to choose from. It has separate rooms for you to either eat in or out. The prices are reasonable, the food is to simply die for and if you’re passing through Tuxford. Just park up near the School or if you’re lucky to get a space just right in front of this store. Also, it has gluten free stuff as well so...
