Popped in for the first time for a Sunday roast, offered a range of meals by the bar staff who showed me a lovely menu and asked where I'd like to sit. Was warned the kitchen was busy so pleasantly surprised when the meal arrived within twenty minutes. Twas lovely - photo supplied - very tasty meal, would definitely recommend the Beef and Chicken roast.

If you're looking for something to eat, and you're in the erea of the White Swan, then make sure you stop here, you won't regret it. The very friendly staff and locals make this place a must. Then there's the food, just fantastic and well presented. Highly recommended.

Called in on passing about 2.45pm, few people in snug area to the right and four people in the left hand bar, went in this side (left) as tables set up for food. No-one was waiting to be served but man behind the bar was talking to another guy about the cost of utilities now and how pubs would be folding soon due to excessive bills, was never acknowledged but stood waiting while he finished his conversion then asked what I wanted, without a hi or hello...ordered but he only pulled the pint and asked the young girl to finish the order and carried on his conversation. Went back and ordered food with the young girl, waited over 25 mins for food... no one else in the pub and it was only a ciabatta and a chicken burger....food was OK not really a chicken burger but deep fried batter goujons, chips looked like chippy chips but not as good, salad was lettuce and onions. No table check done and then upon leaving walked past the barmaid at a table, with from conversations heard were family and owners and wasn't acknowledged upon leaving...no goodbye or thank you or...

Called in on our way through for some food. Reviews seemed good so it was a no brainer. I ordered a steak salad with chips on the side. It was basically a small steak in a bowl full of iceberg lettuce! Few slices of tomato, cucumber and the odd pepper buried at the bottom, no seasoning, no dressing.. bland and boring as hell!! Oh and an onion ring on the top which was ok i suppose. My partner ordered a chicken burger, it should never be advertised as a burger because all she got were a dry chicken breast sliced and put on a dry burger bun. It was a chicken sandwich at best! Oh and their ketchup were dilued with vinegar, or just cheap ketchup in a heinz bottle...vile! No one came to ask if our food was ok after serving us either which isnt very good service especially when it wasnt busy! I wont be returning, but i hope their food improves for...

We was in the area and popped in for lunch. Sat on a table with no reserve sign on to be told It is actually reserved and so we was put in the snug bar. Not very snug sticky table, not that clean. Ordered food at the bar and 4 diet cokes, we was given 4 cans of coke to pour ourselves. Food came out asked for mustard twice they only had English. Then had to ask for cutlery has it is quite useful. Toilets dirty and tiles hanging off wall must be an health and safety issue. Now I am not a person to complain but not great, service average as...
