I ordered from here last month for the first and last time hands down one of the worst takeaway experiences I’ve had. Firstly the card machine was broke we had to leave to get cash, this wouldn’t be a big deal if it was the only issue but it was just the start of the shambles. We ordered a veggie burger, a kids fish bites meal, x2 battered sausage hot dogs and chips, cheese and taco. We ordered in person and it took almost an hour, I sat there for at least 45 minutes and not a single member of staff apologised even when I got the order there was no apology for the wait. I over heard the conversations between the staff and it was clear the hold up was because someone forgot to tell someone to put the sausages on, the man cooking was clearly annoyed about this as he was swearing about it, this felt very awkward. I heard the woman at the till remind him they were battered, when we got home, they were in fact not battered. Veggie burger was cold, fish bites were over cooked. I also had to remind staff that the child’s meal came with a drink and no one gave me one or asked what I wanted. £32 odd for that experience honestly feels like a scam. To top it off after I messaged their fb page my message was ignored, the manager commented on my tripadvisor review in attempts to salvage their reputation advising they were away atm and would respond within 2 weeks. Read moreReceived 3 emails from Nemo’s on Monday 1/9/25 night offering 15% off our next order so decided to order for the family via the email link which takes you to an online ordering page. Order was taken but wasn’t confirmed by the restaurant so I phoned them after 10 mins only to be told, oh that’s through YoYo and it’s not working. Okay…..so what do i do given it’s been paid for on the app? I went ahead and ordered to pick up and pay cash and was given a number to speak to Rory. Phoned Rory who didn’t answer the phone. Texted him and screenshot proof of purchase etc - no reply. When I picked up the food order I was told because the restaurant couldn’t confirm the order the money wouldn’t come out of my account. Well that’s incorrect because by Wednesday the funds had left my bank account. This is extremely poor customer service and looks to me like no one is taking any ownership whatsoever. YoYo aren’t my supplier / they’re Nemo’s so whatever is wrong isn’t my fault to sort and meanwhile I’m out £25 and not so much as the courtesy of a reply from Nemo’s. Read moreI have ordered a good few times from Nemos, decided to order again tonight, no different to any other time, to be phoned and told they don't deliver to BT8. The guy on the phone told me he was going to be "kind enough" to deliver it to me but wanted more money to do so and that it would be an extra hour? I explained I have ordered atleast 5 times before and have the texts to prove so and it has never taken an hour, but the guy on the phone said "it must have been during the day, I don't know who has been delivering to you because we don't deliver to Belvoir." Well mate, I would love to know who has been delivering food to my house and taking the money for the previous 5 orders? I cancelled my order and got a refund, however it says it'll take 21 days to appear back into my account even though it took less than 2 seconds to take it from my account and accept the order.
