When I called the girl on the phone was lovely to start and then got ruder and ruder, wouldn't let me finish my order and kept saying 'that's you done then' and I had to tell her no I still have more to order, not even an ask of is that all or anything else. No, just telling me I'm done then didn't give me a second to even ask for the price of the order over the phone before she hung up. I had then collected it and all of my food was disgusting, honestly inedible, so greasy and dry but also all of the bits of scrap food, whilst also giving me a container that had been burnt through by either oil or something hot, she then was rude whilst I was collecting and wouldn't even look at me holding the card machine towards me but facing herself away, whilst allowing other customers in the building to make a rude comment towards me. The comment which had clearly been overheard from when I called and after she hung up and chatted to coworkers but also looking at them whilst they made comments and saying nothing. Also to keep in mind I am a young woman who looks much younger/sounds much younger than I am. Overall I'm so unhappy with the order and the whole situation. Paying wild money for something that's completely inedible and for rude, unprofessional staff is a joke.

After searching the internet and driving to multiple cafés this morning, I was very glad to find a place offering a breakfast roll (breakfast baguette on their menu). I ordered 2 to takeaway. The staff were friendly, the service was pretty quick. On opening the container, I found the contents (bacon, egg, sausage) presented ontop of the roll. The roll was clearly much too small for its contents, resulting in a very messy eating experience. Normally, rolls like this are wrapped up for handling, but it seems "the coffee house" expect a takeaway roll to be eaten with knife, fork and plate. The quality of the food was good, but I would have ordered a fry if I wanted to sit and eat. My brother's roll is in the photo, and the roll itself was so burnt that he couldn't eat it. He ate the sausage, egg and bacon, agreeing that they we're alright. But, again this defeats the purpose of ordering the baguette in the first place.

Service was amazing and quick with taking food orders and then bringing the food down to the table... Very reasonably priced... 22/12/20 back again and all I can say is wow!!!!! Food was absolutely amazing and very fast service.. I got chicken and ham pie chips and beans.. Wow!!!! Thanks for some more fabulous food... back again 19/10/24.. was worried that it wouldn't be the same as it's under new management.. I was pleasantly surprised.. it was just as nice.. nothing has changed. The food/service and atmosphere are still great... 👍👍👍

I found the coffee house to be very cramped inside with the tables very close together, the staff were okay, the Lasagne has so much garlic in it, it's hard to stomach. The worst experience for me was I asked to use the toilet. I went in and switched the light on. Then I was in complete darkness I was shouting for help I couldn't even see the door handle to get out, someone who was having a smoke outside the open door nearby heard me shouting and said. "It's a motion detector light you have to move for it to come back on" This is very dangerous especially for the elderly people prone to fainting falling and possibly breaking bones. The Coffee House is definitely not wheelchair accessible or accessible for anyone with mobility problems. The toilet is a hazard an accident waiting to happen, and needs changes made to the lighting immediately they didn't even have an emergency cord to pull unlike other places, and even if they did have one, it's pitch black when that light goes off to see anything, it's like wearing a...
