Went for 5 Course Xmas lunch with my Dad on Xmas day & it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Every course was as good as the next & our eyes were definitely bigger than our tummys by the time last courses the cheeseboard, tea & mince pies were put in front of us! This is the 2nd time we've had Xmas lunch twice there now& we can't recommend it enough, as it takes off all the worries of the uu &clearing up when you do Xmas lunch at home! We also go for lunch or tea as a treat, or when I can't be bothered to cook 2/3times a month, not including the times I meet my mate for a catch up! Since the refurbishment The Digby has definitely improved, it is decorated tastefully & comes across as a welcoming, family friendly pub. The staff are approachable & very friendly. We Highly recommend The Digby if your going for a quick drink on your own, meeting a mate for a drink & bite to eat, having a family celebration, having a moan at lunch before the school run meeting your mates for drinks before you all hit the Town or any other reason. Really reasonably priced menu with great food & desserts. We will 100% certain be returning soon. See you there?xx

Great food, good ambiance and very friendly staff. The food is reasonably priced and tastes good. Plenty of parking and seating both indoor and outdoor. Pool table and other games.

Good lunch and drink. Good selection of meals on menu. Like the add on drink for £1.00 or £1.50 with main meal. Good ambiance and service was good. Would recommend and return

This evening me and my family of 13 came to eat. The service and food was terrible. Meals were all ordered together however when the meals started coming out they came out in dribs and drabs to the point where some had finished theirs before the others had received theirs. The children's meal was LAST out (which was 5 minutes after the penultamate meal!!) the naan bread that accompanied the curry was rock solid and when we complained no alternative was offered the meal was just taken away (so only 12 of us actually ate) a refund for the curry was given which was £3 as the meal was purchased on a 2 4 £9 offer! The waiter informed us that due to short staff and not having a chef all day the manager was in fact cooking the food-we wasn't informed when ordering that there could be a delay on the food due to short staffing! When exiting the pub a family member went to the toilet, while in there one of the bar staff came out of one of the cubicles didn't wash his hands and went straight behind the bar!!!To say I was absolutely disgusted is an understatement. I will not be returning to this...

Nice food and good service. Will be back. Lovely beer garden too

I have had to reduce my star rating. Went back here today after a great experience with my coeliac child but our experience was completely the opposite. We ordered on the app and waited 30 minutes for our drinks, I asked 3 staff about it and eventually they were brought out. I used the app to check the allergens but what the app said and what their till said when I double checked was different (could have serious consequences for my daughter). They then brought out 2 of the same meals for my children but we ordered 2 different ones, by the time my 3 year old got his meal the rest of us had almost finished I then had to ask 3 times for their dessert I get people are busy and it's a learning curve but this service was shocking and will make me think twice before...
