Greggs — Restaurant in Birmingham

This has been our local Greggs/Braggs for 50 years and it has always been great but the last few years it has gone down drastically.

First of all as soon as you enter you are blasted with music blaring out, it is so loud you have to shout to be heard. The next obstacle is the staff always young girls who have no manners and do not seem to want to be there, there are no smiles no please or thank you and worst of all your purchases are practically thrown at you.

Considering that I spend £10-20 it's really bad practice to expect the customer to have to ask for a bag and then after it is thrown at you with a scowl you are expected to pack your bag whilst other customers are moaning at you I always get so mithered trying to pack my purchases so as to get out of the way.

The girls behind the counter are just more interested in gossiping between themselves the Asian girl in the headscarf is exceptionally rude. Do they not realise that they are being paid to offer good service???

These girls need to be taught customer care skills as well as basic manners ie please and thank you.

I was served today and had cream cakes in a box but she put the Apple Danish in a paper bag which meant that the icing came off and stuck to the bag when there was more than enough room in the box for it??

Greggs are not cheap now so when you are giving them your hard earned money then the least they can do is give a decent level of service.

Please Greggs please sort out your staffs...

After a long day I thought I would stop by Gregg's for my favourite Ploughman's sandwich and thought I will get a margherita pizza too. However there were no pizzas left, but a new batch was being prepared in the oven which would be another 6 minutes. The lady convinced me I should not miss out on this as she has just made a fresh batch of pizzas and it is fully loaded with cheese. (My lucky day as I LOVE CHEESE!) she told me it would be worth the wait! So I patiently waited and she gave me pizza whilst saying this pizza is not going to disappoint! I came home and wolfed this pizza down! She was right it was soooooo good!

Whenever I come to this Gregg's I always have friendly encounters with their staff! They're are always very polite and work as quickly as they can to serve all their customers in the Glebe...

Never any Baguettes left by 1pm (Tuna Crunch specifically). Not ideal for lunchtime. Management, please ensure items are allocated to this branch more appropriately as it is really off-putting and will tempt me to abdondon the branch if not rectified.

The staff are always friendly and shouldn’t get the blame for lack of stock as it is beyong there control.
