MinMin Noodle Bar — Restaurant in Birmingham

Wanted to go here as was visiting WingYip supermarket. Lovely hostess, sat us lovely, but gormless waiter comes over (finally after 30 minutes of us trying to get his attention to order some drinks) and then makes us move so more people can be accommodated, even though the restaurant was at 60% capacity and not increasing. A little uncertainty over the vegan options but I trusted the team after trying to be explicit I wanted vegan options as have heard they are good for this. Menu didn’t reflect this; just vegetarian. Food came out fairly quickly and was amazing. Well flavoured. OK portion sizes. And front of house worker was lovely. Improvements are for the table to be given and asked for drinks ASAP, waiting staff to be a little more switched on, waiting staff to ‘read the room’ and if two tables are taken by diners while it is quiet, then let them, rather than making guests uncomfortable and move. To be picky, the fixtures, such as the decor óbice and around the tables to just be polished, to maintain the modernity of the venue. So glad to finally get the chance to return to one of my favourite restaurants in Birmingham and introduce it to all of my foodie friends who ended up loving it 🥰

The Restaurant has such a cool, modern, trendy and interesting aesthetic and atmosphere. I still really love the studio Ghibli Terrariums which look really cute.

As usual the food was amazing, the salted duck egg chicken wings remain my favourite item on the menu and will always be a reason for me to return 🤤 Everything we ordered.... And we ordered A LOT was absolutely delicious.

Literally can't complain about anything, Super friendly and polite staff, lovely interior and atmosphere, absolutely amazing and delicious food.

Hi all! I have been a regular customer since quite some time ago. Just want to share my recent unpleasant experience in this restaurant. We had been waiting at the door for more than 10 minutes. No one came to greet us. One of us headed to the counter, asked whether we would be served and finally, a staff told us we had to wait for another 15 minutes. Actually, we don’t mind to wait! We just thought there would be someone letting us know. So we took a seat outdoor and waited for another 10 minutes. Still, no one came to give us the menu. We all understand that you guys are really busy during lunch hours. However, taking the initiative to greet customers and let them know the situation is of great importance because it shows whether your staff know the appropriate etiquette in a catering industry.
