Spicemenu — Restaurant in Birmingham

The shop is 8 minutes away. It took two phones calls to see where the driver is. Initial schedule for the food was 40 minutes as he said on the phone. Being over 40 minutes. Stated the driver just pulled off and will be a further 15 minutes no apology... No show from the driver rang back he then rang the driver then when he finally come the food was as cold as it should be to feed a new born baby. Honestly that cold. We complained about that also that it was missing a mint sauce but got corrected that if you buy one chicken tikka starter you get one mint sauce but if you buy 2 chicken tikka starters you also get one mint sauce for the full price. You have to share the mint sauce which the tub was only half full which wasn't enough for the first starter.

When explaining the food is cold we then got challenged about a schedule they didn't meet not by 10 minutes by at least half an hour and said "I don't know what I can do about it".

Normally order from a previous address but will not be a returning customer order...

Recently moved to the area so thought we would try out the local takeaway. It’s safe to say we will not be returning. Service was lovely - very pleasant. Just a shame about the food. I’ve never know anywhere to use plastics burger cheese slices for a keema cheese naan, was not impressed. The tikka lamb pathia was bland and watery and the spice menu mix for 2 was ok ish. I still can’t believe they put burger cheese slices in the naan. Would not recommend at all. It’s a shame as we would have been regular returning customers if the food was nice - will try the local...

If stingy has a restaurant it would be this place. I thought I’ll support my own people by ordering here. The meat tikka biryani is really disappointing. 99% rice and a few little cubes a meat, if I recall 6 tiny cubes of meat. The Balti was just bad. This cooking is usually a chef that doesn’t have a clue what his cooking. The man just put gerabi (veg stock) with a few chicken pieces. No spices. The lamb chops were just over cooked and was rushed. Bengali will call this restaurant ‘koingish ghoro koingish’. Never...
