Venezia — Restaurant in Bolsover

I couldn't find the option to make an official complaint directly to the restaurant other than over the phone which is not good enough as my complaint is mainly about the man I talked to on the phone. There is no email address on their website. We are regular customers ordering at least once a month for almost 2 years now. Obviously have been very satisfied, until now.

So, received a promotional text a couple of days ago (and email) saying exactly "Spend £25 or more & get 10" garlic bread and cheese free". No other instructions which made us believe the free garlic bread is added automatically to every order over £25. When the pizza bread didn't arrive with our order the delivery guy suggested to call the restaurant, so I did and the lady answering the phone passed me to someone else. This man asked me if I added "free garlic bread" in the comment section. I said no because neither the text nor the email explained I should. He kept telling me I need to add this in the comment section.. and that next time remember to add it. I asked if we won't get the garlic bread now then? His response was: "add it to your order next time okay?" At this point I gave up. He was quite rude and seemed to not care at all. Very poor customer service. It's not about the free food but about the way they handled our issue. They clearly made a mistake on their offer by not making it clear how to claim it and when I call up they talk to me in a very demeaning way. We loved ordering from them, most of the delivery drivers seem to know us now they are all very lovely, beside the nice food this is what made us regular customers but if customer service is this poor then we might consider going elsewhere...

HAIR IN PIZZA !!!

POrdered my granddaughter a pizza from here last night 30/4/22...She had a slice of pizza and came to the crust and found a hair in the crust..YUK !! Her first slice of a 10in...phone them up to speak to the manager and they took my number down..phoned back up cus she was hungry and they said they would send another one out in 10 minutes..half hour passed and phoned them again..to be told it would be there in 2 minutes..well he did come in 2 minutes and it was the manager!!! He said it wasn't a hair..but after her pulled it it took the crust with it, so it was well stuck in the crust...I shall never go back there again...!!!...

I brought a few times from here and the pizzas were perfect thick and soft and the kebabs not to bad either but when I ordered the 14” inch pizzas (the square ones) they were no where near their normal quality, it was really chewy a lot thinner and the taste was lacking, it was a real struggle to eat, so much so that most of it went in the bin, which was a shame it was fast becoming my favourite pizza place until this, makes it even worse it was for a birthday treat, sad to say it’s really put me off for life now. But for anyone reading this I’d advice stick to the 12” pizzas or...
