Delicious food , friendly staff & superb location with lots of parking . I visited for the first time on a friday lunchtime. The cafe was very busy yet we were greeted pretty much immediately by a friendly face . He explained there may be a short wait we didn’t mind by the time we had taken a few mins to look outside at the pretty scenery our table was ready. I had the Greek salad and my friend had the Caesar with chicken and bacon ,Both were very tasty and the quality of the food was excellent . Generous portions . The second time we visited as a family (the next day ) equally as fab I had the soup and a club sandwich . The soup was super hot, fresh and tasty , Fabulous. My other half had the chili which I wanted to eat it too . A fantastic venue and a much needed addition to the local area . We have Previous had to travel to Manchester or Cheshire for a decent cafe!!! The good quality coffee & was nice and hot not just half hearted like some places . I love the fact you can also grab a glass of wine or a pint too ! I saw a gentleman with a pint and it looked very good ! He seemed too be enjoying in😹.

Lovely place, service was brilliant, food came quickly, I had the eggs, avocado and chips (was miffed everything was on top of the chips and made them soggy, and they were not nice) good was ok, everyone else enjoyed theirs though. Coffee was ok, wanted a Guinness but they ran out. Nice atmosphere. Outside with the beautiful lakes was really pretty and the sunny day. There are free roaming chickens and ducks, so I was happy as a pig in poop. Has a good truck outside and more loos. I bought some honey which is from the hives you can actually see on the farm, lovely honey. Long way to travel but may go again if in that neck of the woods.

Absolutely fabulous place with delicious hot tasty food and wonderful service and staff. We were very very lucky to have all 12 family members accommodated and sat together on a Sunday morning, near the gorgeous Christmas tree. Some of our family had travelled from Liverpool and had never been before and thought that everything was fantastic and was definitely worth the trip over. The staff and owner, Andy, was also very helpful and offered assistance with our mum who has mobility issues. The cafe is very clean and welcoming and we all really enjoyed our breakfast.

Very shoddy service today. Have been to cafe twelve on two separate occasions. Service from ordering to getting food excellent. However today arrived at 11-45 sat down and ordered drinks and food. Bacon sandwich and a Tuna Melt. Drinks took 20 minutes to arrive.A water and a tea. At 12-30 no food. Asked the waitress who assured us ours was the next order to be plated up. People on the next table had to ask to get their drinks as they’d been waiting a while to. 10 Minutes later five lots of food came out none of it ours . 12-50 we got up leave to be told very sorry don’t know what’s going on in the kitchen. The last time I was at cage twelve here there was a man who appeared to be very much in charge and keeping on top of everything. Today no one appeared to be taking on that role. This is a lovely cafe and the food is excellent but the staff today really let themselves down. Customers should not be walking out and shouldn’t be being told there’s a problem in the kitchen. Sort the problem out don’t tell your...

Really like cafe 12 and find the service really friendly including my last visit My 6 year old son is a big fan of the kids pan cakes which are given to the kids completely. He has had them the last 4 times we have gone. On my last visit the pancakes arrived but instead of 1 pancake there was 3 massive pancakes on the plate which was far too big for my son and he only ate one. I mentioned the size of pancakes when paying and she informed me he was given the adult pancakes charged at £9 I explained that he wanted the kids pan cakes and the lady at the till said you need to be clear when ordering. Ok fair enough but I have never been clear about this in the past and there was only me and my son on this occasion and we had the same server as we had last time. Feel they had the opportunity avoid me walking away feeling...
