Mc Guinness ice creamery — Restaurant in Bolton

The ice cream was all melted when we got it, and it was already dripping through the bottom of the cone. The car park where you now sit is a horrible place to sit. You used to be able to sit in the back of the farm and look at the lovely views, but now you have a horrible car park with broken benches and zero views. It's a shame I used to like visiting here, but I will no longer be coming here. Ice cream nice, but customer service let it down, my daughter only wanted a small ice cream but wanted to try two flavours, I asked if it was possible to put two half scoops, the young ginger girl scowled at me and said NO very abruptly and promptly placed two scoops in the small cone....if she had said it nicely then I wouldn't have had a problem. A good place to stop for toilets and ice cream when amusing your passengers on a drive .The ice cream is from tubs and I prefer whippy but I was told it was nice .I haven't had an issue with two different flavours on one cone being sold at all .Great views on the way to the wc .Very large car park to sit in .( but no view ) Hope it continues , was very useful...
