Skipadoos - The secure dog field - Bolton — Attraction in Bolton

Took my 5 1/2 month old Jack Russell pup and my Stepdaughters Fiancé brought along their nearly 3 year old Jack Russell, great safe place to allow your dogs to run around freely in a safe environment. They have a few bits for dogs to jump over, crawl through and a bench in the centre for you to sit and let the dogs run free. It an excellent place to let your dog off the lead, either because they usually stay on a lead when out walking or to let them get used to being off the lead and for you to teach them to come back to you when asked etc. This is a farmers field, at quite a high point so appropriate footwear and clothing necessary, it as very muddy when we were there and probably is most of the time so don’t wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. A towel to give your dog/s a wipe down and something to cover your car seats if necessary, unless you have an estate/people carrier that you have partitioned off. First time visiting today. We took our 3 dogs for a 30min session for £5.

We’ve never been to a private dog park before, and usually visit our local field. However, due to too many dogs off leads and irresponsible owners on our local field, it always spoils the fun for the dogs.

So we seen this place online and thought we would give it a go.

Honestly, the dogs had a brilliant time (as did we). The place is fully secured so the dogs can roam free, it’s clean and well maintained and has PLENTY of fun things to do for the dogs.

It’s safe to say, our 3 dogs didn’t want to leave and will definitely be tired out for the rest of the day.

Really great place, and Lovely welcoming owner too. Free poo-bags provided (we brought our own but handy if you ever forget them) and fresh water for the dogs also.

Highly recommend and we will be back regularly.

Was hesitant when a friend invited me to come with my dog. Mainly about the safety and security of it for my 1 year old yorkie. Safe to say I had nothing to worry about, fences high enough so no dogs can jump out, no gaps in the fence for the dogs to sneak out. The door to enter is on a latch so make sure it's shut when entered. We absolutely loved it here with my pup for the first time. His first play date and they all enjoyed it.
