Smithills Open Farm Ice Creamery — Restaurant in Bolton

This has recently opened in the evenings so that if you're using the ice creamery , you're also able to use the play area at the park. This is such a lovely gesture and now the evenings are lighter (and warmer!) this has been a real treat. The ice cream is delicious, with lots of different flavours to try and if you're short on milk and other supplies, you can also stock up whilst you're here. We loved this local farm and ice creamery. Despite milk being more expensive than from the supermarket, we bought from here frequently. This time we went with 3 children and they wanted some ice cream too. But the staff was unable to operate the till properly and calculate what we have to pay, and wanted to charge us double price for the ice cream. Incredibly unwelcoming customer service. Really enjoyed a nice day out at this venue..amazing farm with really friendly and helpful staff..the kids loved being able to interact with the animals at the petting area.and the tractor ride..there's free parking and wheelchair accessible..food is sold on site at very reasonable prices thay also make there own ice cream..all in all a cheap and fun day out..thank you all at...
