This is a review specifically on the new restaurant that has opened up by Unity Brook Inn called Thai Korat.

Though you can sit both inside or outside of this establishment, we decided to sit outdoors, and it was absolutely comfortable for us, even being so close to the road, we hardly noticed the traffic passing by.

The menu is huge! Which is great if you want to explore new dining options, but if you’re undecided, this menu may be slightly overwhelming for you. They offer a vast array of dishes, which cover most dietary options.

We decided on something familiar to us and must say, the food was absolutely delicious and true to the Thai-style. The amount of food served was deceiving as you think you might have a relatively small portion, but we were very much full-up and even needed a take-away to take home with us.

The nice thing about this establishment is the friendly service and continued customer care during our meals. The extra touch was having the Owner and Chef personally deliver the courses.

One thing to note here is that if you order any beverages, they are to be ordered directly from the bar as the restaurant only cater for the food - but this is a very small thing...

We came on Monday 28th March For some lunch for my brothers birthday We have eaten here several times but so so disappointed on Monday b Myself and sister in law had salads I had the warm goats cheese i did think it would come in cubes rather then just stuck on the salad the salads themself had far to much vinaigrette dressing on as you got further down it was like just eating fork full of vinegar, but the desserts was the most disappointing sticky toffee pudding with cream and an eaten mess both served on side plates the plate with the eaten mess was o obviously warm when making it again I thought an eaten mess was chopped up meringue not a big blob on the plate and the cream had melted before it reach me and was falling off the side of the plate neither of us finished them as it was hard work with a spoon on plate catching it before it fell of the plate having worked in kitchens in pubs for many years before retirement woul d have been better served in bowls really sorry for the review but will...

A friendly pub diner with plenty of parking space. Adjacent to the car park is an outside garden eating or drinking area and fenced childrens playground. Meals can be eaten in the dining area or taken though to the pub area and the waiting staff will serve you at your selected table. I was impressed with the food i was told The chef makes all the food served here from scratch along with most of the sauces and extras. Though they have a good menu i wanted something not on it. This was not a problem as where the chef knows his job my meal was prepared, in no time at all, and served at the some time as the rest of my group. The bar is a good size allowed plenty of space for ordered drinks or for these who prefer to just prop the bar up The bar was well stocked serving the usually selection of alcohol beverages and soft drinks (hot and cold) This diner is situated on the main road out of Farnworth going towards Manchester making locating it very easy. A venue worth trying and one i...

(This is a review of the Thai food part of the pub only) I called in to sort a takeaway, took a whole before I was eventually put on to someone that could take my order. I think they must have 1 number for the pub and the takeaway, they should look at getting a separate number for smoother service. The Thai food was all really nice, authentic, as good as other places we have tried. My only grumble is the price point for some dishes. We just got 4 starter dishes and it was £30...in particular the chicken and prawn toast at £7.95 and only getting 1 slice was disappointing. A lot of Thai places offer a set menu, if they looked at doing that, with a reasonable price point I would try them again, but for now, there are too many other decent takeaways around that are just better value for money for me.

I even not taste any food yet. I never been somewhere service bad like that. I’ve been this place without booking. When I arrived I ask for available table for 3 people 2 Thai lady 1 English guy. I’ve got a table. After 3 minutes waiter told as to move the table because has 8 people booked . Yeah we do after 5 min with new table i can see few people try talk sometime waiter then her cone back to my table again and said ‘’can you move back because this table have a booking from the owner this place’’ with the people who talk with waiter look at me same like I steal table from her. if you can hear that you could’ve stayed there or walk away? I’m really very upset. They try to keep regular customer. No walk in. For the first time and forever.
