Victoria Inn — Restaurant in Bolton

I came for a lunch to The Victoria Inn and we enjoyed the outdoor seating, it was peaceful and pleasant. We have ordered trio of "nibbles"Halloumi sticks, sticky sausages and salt & pepper wings. The Halloumi and sausages were nice, but the wings lacked seasoning, did not tasted fresh and they were really dry, but not crispy. We had the chicken skewers with chips, that again lacked seasoning, they were dry and generally not palatable at all. We have then ordered late and sticky chocolate cake with ice-cream, they only brought 1 instead of 2, despite excessive waiting time and couple of prompts. The cake was hard, ice-cream was melted and the sauce was atrocious. Shockingly even the late was so bad, that we couldn't drink it. It was just a milk, with no coffee taste, with no colour, but it was hot. We had to wait very long time for every course , despite they had only few guests and the food was not worth very much. Its is a shame, as some of the staff was nice and so was the place,. I will definitely not...

Stopped off here for food before having a baby scan and got put in the downstairs room which was freezing cold, they only turned the small heater on when we arrived and as we were the only people downstairs i was extremely cold. Then we waited nearly an hour before anyone came to take our order and when i went to tell a young woman working there that when they were free we were ready to order she was extremely rude and turned her nose up at me as she said "yes someone will come" and walked off. But when we finally got our food it was amazing, i would recommend their food and it was worth the wait and the gentleman that worked there were very polite and very nice people so not all the staff were bad. So overall i give this place a 3 star rating as the food was really good and the men that worked there were very friendly but the waiting time (they were'nt busy) and the young woman that worked there let...

I recently visited the Victoria Inn Restaurant for a Christmas gathering with a large group of 25 people, and the experience was wonderful. The waiting staff were attentive, pleasant, and professional, ensuring that everyone in our group was well taken care of. Despite our size, they worked tirelessly to provide excellent service.

Coordinating such a large group is no small task, but the team at the Victoria Inn went above and beyond to ensure we all had a brilliant time. Their effort to make our celebration special was evident.

The highlight of the visit, however, was the food. The Christmas menu was fantastic, with every dish thoughtfully prepared and delicious. From the starters to the desserts, each plate was a festive delight.
