I have booked a table for me and my partner to have an enjoyable dinner in Ashiana on 7/9/2024. Booking was done over the phone few days before. Unfortunately, our experience of the place and the staff was far from "enjoyable".

We arrived to the restaurant 5 minutes before our booking time (7 pm) and as we stepped in, we found ourselves in middle of a cramped up space in which at least 20-25 people were sitting side by side on benches put down around the room. We waited for a bit near the entrance to see if someone from the staff would come and get us in. After a while, when no one came, I told a staff member that we had a booking for two people at 7 pm. He kindly told us to speak to another staff member at the bar so we made our way between the crowd towards the bar which was on one side of the "space" everyone was waiting.

Again, staff at the bar was busy pouring down drinks and answering the phone so we had to wait again for him to actually speak to us. When he finally did, I told him we had a booking for two people at 7 pm. He acknowledged this and told us to find a place to sit in the "space". Interesting thing was, no one ver asked us what name the reservation was made for or looked it up from somewhere to see if the reservation was made - so we believe they did not even actually made the reservation at all.

We managed to find a place on the bench to squeeze in across the entrance to the actual dining area. It was quite obvious that there were more than enough empty tables for people to be admitted in that area. We waited around 15 minutes for someone to actually come and tend to us - when they finally did, it was not to get us to our table but to get our drink orders. We were going to order a bottle of wine but we did not want to open and drink it in a cramped up place like that; so we said that we will order at the table.

We waited 10 more minutes and no one came and took us in. So we decided to leave the restaurant and go somewhere else in Poulton-le-Fylde. Best decision ever - we arrived to a lovely Indian restaurant with magnificent food in which we were taken to our table straight on just 10 minutes drive away...

I have driven past this lovely restaurant on many occasions just didn't have the time to stop and eat in , today was my birthday and I decided to come over and try it out by the end of the evening I was kicking my self why didn't I come sooner, honestly the food was absolutely brilliant ,we had a platter for two mix grill, cooked to perfection and plenty for two people, again the main was as good as the platter, the service was brilliant, frendly welcoming staff, they checked on us to make sure we where happy with the food if we needed anything very polite and curtius and the atmosphere was very lively, but humble, people enjoying their meal and evening out this place isn't down so e high street but in nice quiet country lane and people drive to it just to eat and enjoy their meal ,their quality of service and respect which they give is very rare in this day an age

Message to the management and staff thank you for a lovely evening and great food not only will I be coming back I will also be recommending yourselves to...

Myself and my husband are both registered disabled on our 1st and last visit to this restaurant I would like to point out the disgusting way what appeared to be the elderly owner saw fit your treat a disabled customer who requested to use the disabled toilet .Firstly you should be aware that not every disability is visible and secondly you certainly need to gain some customer service etiquette and not to use discriminatory abuse to any disabled people! I may not be in a wheelchair but I need the help of a disabled toilet but to be shouted down when asking for the disabled toilet to be unlocked( not a radar lock of which I hold a key) and making me explain myself was not just disgusting it was very embarrassing as obviously this was in front of a restaurants other customers, we left at that point before we had eaten . so well done Ashiana for being so abusive and rude to a...

When we arrived it was extremely busy and crowded at the entrance. They had enough tables to seat people but were not sending them through. It took around 30 mins to have people come get our orders. After that we got poperdoms, it took around 1 hour 30 for starters to arrive. They were okay, nothing special and some of it didn’t look very appetising. We then waited another half hour for our main to arrive. The steak was well done when we ordered for medium. The food tasted fine but they were fairly cold when it arrived. When we mentioned the steak being bad we had to wait 10-15 mins for them to come back to get the bill. The napkins we got after our meal were warmer than when we were given the food

Visited 12 months ago and really couldn't fault it. Visited again last night and was a little disappointed. The staff were lovely and couldn't be faulted. The food, however, wasn't all that. I had chicken shashlick, which was lovely it usually comes with a vegetable sauce. I asked for a rogan josh in replacement. The sauce, which I'm aware of, is tomato based. Tasted like a flavourless watery tomato no curry flavour whatsoever. Mushroom rice, which was absolutely lovely, but at £3.90 you expect a decent portion far from it. The restaurant is really out of my way to visit but enjoyed our first visit. I thought it was worth the drive out. Probably won't bother again

I recently dined at a charming Indian restaurant, and I must say, it was a delightful culinary experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and cozy seating. I started with the papadam and chutney. The flavors were vibrant, and it set the tone for the meal. The service was attentive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. In summary, my experience at this indian restaurant was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, cozy ambiance, and top-notch service made it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic taste of India in a welcoming atmosphere.
