Paid a visit afternoon of Wednesday 31st August. Very large car park with disabled spaces. There is a ramp up to the main entrance with grab rails on both sides so access is ok for those with mobility problems. Wasnât busy so lots of choice of where to sit. Tables were big so if 4 of you were to sit at one you would have loads of elbow room. Looks a big place so should seat quite a high number of covers but I can imagine they get busy especially on a Friday and a Saturday night. From what we saw of the place it was well set out, plenty of room between tables and looked very clean and tidy. Menus were a la carte and there was a 2 or 3 course fixed price menu for early diners. One nice touch was the fixed price menu was in large print so very easy to read. However, we were in a steakhouse and obviously keen to try the steaks so we opted for the a la carte menu. We ordered salt and pepper Calamari to share as a starter and a 10oz grain fed sirloin at ÂŁ28.95 and an 8 oz Black Angus Ribeye at ÂŁ23.75. Both with Peppercorn sauce and Garlic Mayonnaise and Grana Padano wedge dressing. Our waitress for our meal was called Susan. Friendly, efficient and professional. Gave us plenty of time to make our choice. Answered any queries we had, made several suggestions regarding the menu and she was attentive without being over bearing. I liked the Calamari but as it was described as salt and pepper so had expected it to come with chillis and garlic and be a bit spicy. Portion was for one but just about big enough to share as a starter for 2. Mains arrived after a reasonable interval. I had ordered the sirloin and I like my steak rare. Mine was cooked just right for me. I donât know how they did but it was the same all the way through. One of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Fries were good as was the wedge dressing. The onion bread was also nice and a little different. Susan had explained they did this as a substitute for onion rings. I wasnât over impressed with the peppercorn sauce if Iâm being honest. Didnât seem to have a lot of flavour. We were full and had no room for desserts. Meal was relatively expensive. Over ÂŁ90 including a bottle of the house Rioja, one pint of lager and a mineral water. But bear in mind that the steaks were very, very good. You will get cheaper steaks Iâm sure but not of this quality. The old saying is you get what you pay for and that was the case here. Overall based on our visit today I would recommend this establishment and would have no hesitation in visiting here again or one of their other restaurants if I wanted a good steak.

Miller & Carter is a steakhouse restaurant located in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a modern and sophisticated interior design. The restaurant specializes in high-quality steaks and offers an extensive menu of beef cuts, including fillet, ribeye, sirloin, and rump, all of which are cooked to perfection. In addition to steaks, the menu also features a variety of other dishes, including seafood, chicken, and vegetarian options. During my visit, I ordered the 8oz fillet steak cooked medium-rare, and it was one of the best steaks I have ever tasted. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy, and the seasoning was just right. The sides that came with the steak, including the triple-cooked chips and the grilled tomato, were also delicious and complemented the dish perfectly. The service at Miller & Carter was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and they went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The restaurant also has an impressive wine list, with a great selection of reds, whites, and sparkling wines to choose from. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Miller & Carter in Lytham St Annes. The high-quality food, excellent service, and pleasant atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a special occasion or a romantic night out. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top-notch steakhouse experience.

We have been coming to Miller and Carter ever since it opened. I have given it five stars previously, but our experience of late has not been as good. The steaks were overdone and dry despite being asked how we like them. The onion loaf is soggy and had the bitter taste and texture of undercooked flour, the mushrooms and tomatoes were missing. The waitress was awful this time (not seen her before). She pushed my sonâs arm out of the way without saying anything and was miserable - like she really did not want to be there! We did feed this back to the supervising waiter, but whilst he did apologise, he really didnât seem interested - as though itâs a common occurrence, which is why I have felt the need to do this review. Itâs a shame because in the past, the food has been excellent, the service very friendly and good (there are two blond waitresses there who are always smiley and friendly, but havenât served us the last couple of times), the atmosphere was fun, the food delivered promptly but itâs just gone a bit downhill. Considering we never come away with a bill less than ÂŁ130, itâs too much to spend on something that isnât as it should be. I hope the management take heed and make the necessary improvements. We are going to give it a miss for a few months and hopefully, the management will sharpen things up. Iâm sure it wonât take much to restore it to its former excellence as it has all the necessary ingredients - just needs some heart, energy and enthusiasm put back in to the restaurant.

Dadâs day treat. I was a Miller & Carter virgin until my daughter booked us in for a meal on Fatherâs Day 2024. Along with all our group, I must say that I enjoyed the entire experience. We were expertly attended to and waited upon by Zoltan who clearly is in the correct job, nothing was too much trouble for him, regardless of our requests and requirements, plus he has a great sense of humour. The atmosphere was a real buzz, although our table was neatly tucked away in a corner - we liked that. The food and drinks were presented and certainly wowed us. We tucked into the starters, then later the main event of 20 oz T-Bone for me, which was cooked to perfection. All 4 of our group agreed that their meals were most enjoyable. A slight criticism from me is that I didnât enjoy their chunky chips, they seemed hollow, translucent, and with no substance, and only lukewarm, I wouldnât choose them again. Maybe something the management/chef could investigate, as there are far better chips out there. All in all though, we enjoyed ourselves and weâre already looking forward to our next visit to this fabulous steak house.

Food was awesome, delicious steaks cooked to perfection, I also had the lobster tail, which didn't taste as good as I was hoping (I often eat them in florida) you could tell it was frozen and defrosted. I don't understand the random potato thing they standardise with most steaks, I'm never sure what it is, and it's not that tasty. Loved the borderlaise sauces with my medium rare Angus. For a Tuesday, birthday meal, I was surprised by the random table of loud giggling men and women sat nearby us who were fairly loud, and this kind of lowered the atmosphere, would have expected middle aged drunk people on a Saturday more. The location of the table was also right next to a till, so foot patrol was fairly high. Bathrooms were clean and presented well, but the taps had very low pressure, so struggled to wash my hands đ service was good, but took a while for our waitress to come after arriving and take a drink order, and no one offered the bill after our desserts. Overall, enjoyed the food, and still CANNOT find steaks this delicious anywhere else this side of the Atlantic Ocean.

We have been here a few times now and each experience just gets better and better. The staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is sophisticated and makes you feel a bit fancy, which is a nice change for someone like me lol. It is quite costly, but thatâs what we know and expect. We set money aside and itâs treat for us to look forward to on special occasions. We have always ordered the Chateaubriand which is for 2 people and it comes with your choice of sauce (one each), choice of side (one each), lettuce wedge with choice of dressing (one each) and a fried onion loaf thing⌠which I cant even explain what it is but itâs delish⌠we have also gone all out before and got an extra side of lobster tail to share. As mentioned, it can be a costly do, but when itâs a special occasion and we have set money to the side for it, we donât mind. Love coming here and will continue to do so!
