I came here because I heard it was a dog friendly pub on Sheppey. upon arriving I made friends with a local and we were talking and having a lovely time enjoying our beverages which was lovely and cold. when our food arrived it came first as appetizers my husband received the mushroom soup that looks like dirty Grey thick dishwater I smelt it but refused to put it in my mouth the people who had joined us got a meat sampler appetizer where there is undescribable bits of wiggly Brown flesh that no one could describe nor understand what animal it came from .upon our main course arriving I'll just say it was grotesque failing to meet any standards of desirable yummy edible eats. picked my sandwich apart to eat what was edible and then just decided to bin the rest . upon this happening our table guest had went inside to enquire upon a refund for the inedible food that they were very disappointed . escalation happened out of my view inside the pub when our table guest came back to get there card for a refund was granted, but upon both table guest returning the refund was denied. then a heavily pregnant woman came outside screaming and cussing and yelling at our table mates and it made all of us in the garden extremely uncomfortable and I would never recommend this place for anyone to eat at . as I was leaving I noticed that the kitchen staff have an entire row of windows onto the garden and it was the most disgusting unclean kitchen I had ever seen and amazed I didn't get sick....

The meals are reasonably priced and the service we received was excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Harps Inn and will return. I would...

The staff go above and beyond — friendly, attentive, and genuinely make you feel like part of the family.
The food is fantastic too — fresh, well-cooked, and proper pub portions at great prices. The Sunday roasts are a must-try, and the drinks are always perfectly poured. There’s often great entertainment and a really friendly local crowd, which gives the place its true community feel.
