We ordered our meal at 6.45. The UberEats app said that delivery would be 20 to 45 minutes, that didn't change. It was Friday evening so we gave it a bit longer. After an hour I called the restaurant for an update and was told that our order was not in the kitchen so must be out on delivery to us. 20 minutes later still no food so I called the restaurant again. After some time on hold I was told our order had been 'missed' and hadn't even got to the kitchen so I was clearly lied to on the previous call. Finally, 2 hours after we ordered our meal turned up with a half-hearted apology on the doorstep and no recompense for the inconvenience. And just to cap it all off nicely my daughter found a hair cooked into her poppadum and refused to eat any more of her meal. Very expensive for abysmal delivery service, lies and hair in the food. I have eaten from here many times but the last couple of times the food has been awful! The curry is more like a stew, no flavour, dry chicken in a watery liquid. The lamb is chewy you can't eat it all. The best part is the prawn puri chaat, OMG the tiniest rubber prawns ever are dyed red and served in red watery liquid on what should be a light fluffy puri but is actually an oily flatbread. This is so wrong on many levels! Even the yoghurt dip was a runny consistency too! The first time it was awful we gave them the benefit of doubt and ordered again. I won't be making the same mistake, I will never order a takeaway from here again or eat in for that matter. Such a shame as the quality of ingredients, cooking, consistency and taste has gone as low as you could...

Have been using the whitehouse for takeaways for a few months now. Have decided I need to start looking elsewhere again. Restaurant started so well, food was great and then…. I only order for me, dhansaks I love them. Was great when using lentils but you’re now using split yellow peas. I’ve eaten peanuts with less crunch! Others in our home are now complaining about ordering makhany dishes being substituted with kormas! The chef seems to be getting a little lazy preparing peppers and onions in the shashliks. Paper skin left on onions and who wants the stalks and bitter pith with seeds left on the peppers. Please bring the old chef back or monitor what he is sending out. I noticed it used to take an hour plus to get a meal delivered. Last two were 10mins....
