Popped in for some lunch. Carpark OK. A medium size. Nice welcome when you walk in. It was busy dispite being a late lunch. The place was clean so was the tables. Table service. Drinks orders done and served then ordered the food. When the food came it looked good on the plates. Hickory burger, gammon egg and pineapple and last was the lasagne. All came with chips and salad. The chips were nice and sald was fresh with a nice salad dressing. I was told that the lasagne and gammon were very nice and the burger I had was very nice. One of the best I've had . I said that in a review I did a few weeks ago. But this was even better. I really enjoyed it. The deserts were very nice also. Great...

Seeing as we are moving into the village we went to view our new house & came here for a meal afterwards. I have to say I was very impressed, 11 of us booked a table & the service from the staff was just brilliant, the food was very tasty & the prices are amazing.. Not had a drink at the bar yet but everyone in there were in good spirits & it looks as though it will become our local boozer & hope to take part in events & quizzes etc after we move.. We have now moved to Kirton and this is still an outstanding boozer with brilliant great value meals.....

It's a mediocre pub, with average food and uninterested bar staff, wouldn't go again. I had steak pie which wasn't steak it was just beef with an added lid, with twice fried chips peas and salad. It was cheap It's true that you get what you pay for. The woman behind the bar couldn't have been more disinterested, I ordered a drink and she was talking away but not to me to her mates sitting at the table behind me, great customer service! The girl who brought the food was lovely and polite to be fair she was the best thing...

We visited the Black Bull twice on our recent stay in Boston. My surf and Turf was absolutely delicious. However my wife's rump steak was not good. The staff handled our complaint perfectly which is why we gave the Bull a second chance. Our second meal was absolutely delicious. Well kept ale and very friendly. A lovely experience.
