Went here for lunch with a work colleague and a person who was being supported.
My colleague and I chose to eat from the "2 meals for £10.99" all day every day offer.
He had a curry with rice and poppadoms and I had hunters chicken with chips, 3 onion rings, coleslaw and side salad.
An alcohol free strawberry and lime cider was £4 and a glass of coke £2.40.
Was pleasantly surprised with the meals and we both enjoyed them.
The person who we were supporting wanted a burger and chose from the "Build a burger" menu.
He picked the double burger pictured on the menu, which I think was topped off with fried onions, bacon and cheese in a brioche roll, this came with chips, onion rings and salad.
Apart from the burger bun falling apart in his hands, and dropping some of the burger on the floor, he said he liked it and wants to return another day.

Read moreWent here on a Saturday lunchtime and quickly wished I hadn't. Because it's a "foody" pub, it was busy with families having a drink and a meal. Absolutely nothing wrong with that but the families that were there were very very loud, the kids screaming, throwing toys around and jumping on the chairs without so much as a "now now Wayne, try and behave yourself" from any of the parents. Read moreA middling score for a reasonable pub. It's not the most sophisticated place, the beer isn't expensive, food is cheap, food isn't as good as 'spoons with extensive use of the microwave. I've knocked a star off as I'm sure the pie was microwaved and the burger had a rubbery texture like it was part microwaved. I've knocked another star off as its 2022 and not a guest ale in sight. Other Greene King pubs have guest ales. The Guinness is OK and the house IPA is passable once it's warmed above the freezing cold serving...
