Dropped into this café today with my boyfriend, but we walked out before even ordering due to the owner’s rude and dismissive attitude.
I politely asked to see a menu after he asked if I wanted takeaway. Instead of answering, he repeated the same question as if I hadn’t said anything. When I asked again — calmly — to see a menu, he cut me off and laughed, saying “They’re all over the walls and tables, mate,” in a sarcastic tone.
There was no reason for the attitude — I was just trying to order properly. The lack of basic respect and customer service made us feel completely unwelcome, so we left without ordering.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting even the most basic level of courtesy.

Read moreGood quality food, but extremely expensive and poor portion sizes. Gets ridiculously busy as it's the only cafe in the area. Frequented by builders and workmen mainly, offering a 10% discount to those in the emergency services. The staff are very helpful, if somewhat over worked.
The seating area is on the small side and it's freezing on a colder day.
