Coffee Haven — Restaurant in Broadland

I enjoyed a delightful Full English Breakfast for £10.99 at Coffee Haven, Sprowston Garden Centre this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that my meal included a Cumberland sausage, which adds a unique touch compared to most English breakfasts.

There was a small mix-up when the staff member taking my order didn’t understand my request to have my egg "turned over," as I prefer not to have runny eggs. Fortunately, her colleague—presumably the cook—asked me to clarify. I learned that "turned over" means the egg is flipped and briefly cooked on the second side to set the white while keeping the yolk runny. Next time I will say hard egg. You learn something new...

I’m not from around the area I took my client there I’m a Carer for some lunch I ordered a chicken salad with maple syrup bacon and my lady had a baked potato with cheese both basic first of all it took about 40mins to get to us when it came my salad was very very basic my 8yr old could of put it together half of the ingredients wasn’t on there and far to much dressing it said grilled chicken and the bacon was as pale as the chicken I we was very disappointed. I've been here a few times now and have always found it to be lovely, the food is good and the cakes are delicious 😋 The staff do a really great job considering the tiny kitchen they are working from, and yes sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but personally I find its lovely just sitting enjoying the surroundings outside with all the beautiful plants for sale near by.
