Pro tip: as it's on a National Trust site, the car park is pay and display, which makes it an expensive sandwich. However, if you're purely there for the café, there's an alternative called Walton Hill car park about half a mile away. That said, the locals seem to park pretty much where they like...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Clent Hills with my partner and our dog. Upon arrival, we were keen to enjoy a meal and a hot drink before embarking on our walk. Nimmings Wood Cafe proved to be an excellent choice.
The staff were exceptionally welcoming and served one of the best bacon and egg sandwiches I have encountered at a National Trust location. Both the coffee and hot chocolate were outstanding and offered at reasonable prices.
I would unreservedly recommend this cafe to anyone visiting the area. It is certainly beneficial to visit the cafe and enjoy a substantial meal before starting your journey...
