NIMTO Indian And Nepalese Restaurant — Restaurant in Bromsgrove

Firstly this was our first time ordering from this restaurant, we placed the order and was emailed a confirmation from the restaurant with a wait time of 45 minutes - definitely not unreasonable for a Saturday night. After an hour we called to ask where the food was and were told that the order had only just come through and so we would have to wait another 30 minutes. We were annoyed but agree to wait. After 45 minutes we called again to see if the food was on the way and were told 15 minutes maximum. After 25 minutes I contacted the website who contacted the restaurant and we were told 5 minutes. After 10 minutes we contacted the restaurant again and were asked to call the delivery driver ourselves! After a further 15 minutes the food finally arrived and we were not offered any sort of discount or compensation for the wait. The only saving grace of the whole situation was that the food was piping hot and - bar one dish out of 4 which was under parr - very very good. Ordered a takeaway for collection,1 chicken Balti & 1 Chicken Saagwala,With rice,poppadoms etc. Food was piping hot,But overkill with onions in the balti which were crunchy and it tasted bland,Chicken Saag had tandoori chicken pieces if you could find them & more spinach that popeye could ever consume.Naan breads were wafer thin & poppadoms were marginally thicker!.Shame as reveiws seemed appealing & smells good when going past,But,Wont use again & got moaned at for parking out...

Ordered from here for the first time. Ordered at 7.20, called the restaurant at 8.30 to see how long our order would be. Was told it was on its way!!! Called again 20 minutes later was told the driver left 10 minutes ago. Called again 20 minutes later to be told they are busy, just couldn’t get a straight answer.
