The Courtyard Cafe at Tardebigge — Restaurant in Bromsgrove

Found this place by chance today, while searching for somewhere to grab a English breakfast at 1:30pm in the afternoon! Nowhere I knew of was doing breakfasts that late, so I Google and found The Courtyard Cafe, seen the reviews were very positive so I thought we’d take a drive there and check it out.

The staff are all friendly, and the food was fantastic and cooked nicely. What was nice is that the food had literally just come off the pan, onto the plate, it was very hot, which is nice as most restaurants these days serve cold/Luke warm food.

The only slight issue I had immediately was the fact that the lighting wasn’t very bright, I like to see what I’m eating! Ok it wasn’t that dark, but could have done with being abit brighter in there. The restaurant area is small, so people who aren’t comfortable sitting in a room full of people my not like it, i don’t want to put anyone off from going, as the food is great, but if you are not comfortable with being close to many people during the pandemic, you may want to go somewhere else, or ring before hand to check their not too busy.

Thursday 16th November 11:00 hrs went with my Son for breakfasts, I had the Courtyard Breakfast with scrambled eggs instead of fried egg, my son had the Tardebrigge Breakfast, we both had Latte coffees. Both the Breakfasts were served hot within 15 minutes of us arriving and were both very tasty breakfasts and cooked to perfection served on hot plates. The 2 lady staff were very friendly and welcoming and the seating area was very comfortable, we sat by the wood burning fire which warmed us both up as it was very cold outside. Came to the cafe this morning with my Son and we both had the B.E.S.T sandwich which was delicious and I had my favourite deluxe hot chocolate very yummy. The service was excellent the two ladies were very friendly. It was really nice as well to be able to sit outside and enjoy some sunshine 😊 took some school cake home to my mom who’s been poorly and she really enjoyed it and said it was amazing.
