Been here three times now. Every time a dreadfully poor customer experience. Today only two people serving who didn't really know about customer service with a large queue inside and outside with one client trying to complain about her order then after waiting 8-10 minutes with no sign of any action suddenly from a hiding place three additional staff appeared from the customer area where they'd been laughing and joking and ignored the queue whilst continuing laughing and joking with each other. I left and went over to the garage and got a cheaper better drink and fab service. Last time I visit here.
4 Feb 2022 - I was walking past today (on a windy cold day) and feeling cold and thought I'd risk poor service again (btw we were in the week before and it took 15 mins before we were recognised as customers and a further 10 minutes to get coffees even though there were again only two people in front (and granted there were lots of cars in the drive thru).
However, amazingly I was recognised as a customer straight away with a friendly smile and when I said an oat milk cappuccino I was asked if it was through preference or because of an allergy (preference), all smiles, and was politely asked for my name told that it wouldn't take long and I was asked if I wanted an extra shot or a cake or sandwich (i.e. up sold - I never had that done to me here before) I declined at 60p a shot and the cakes).
I moved along and the barista then said it wouldn't be long as the espresso was now dribbling through my coffee - hmmmm really pleasant and fast).
But then, as I moved to the end of the counter I noticed three business people having a conference meeting in the alcove in the corner. In fact now I realised one of them had just interviewed someone whilst sat in the lounge. I saw they were all from Starbucks as they had lots of Starbucks paperwork with them on their table!

Read moreI'd like to emphatically reiterate the poor quality of staff present @ this branch and wish to petition for the extensive audit and replacement thereof. The staff are careless and reckless in punctuality of order fulfillment and show little to no concern for customer satisfaction. As they laugh and chat away, they tend to forget the customer service responsibilities . Some even blank the requests and carry on working pretending to be deaf, dumb and blind. To say these staff are taking liberty is an understatement. Preferential treatment and selective cold shouldering is order of the day and perhaps night depending on daylight saving hours. Pernicious and petulant all the way. It is my belief no action would be taken against these fairies because they are pristine and free of error. They can do no wrong. The franchise is responsible for its staffing , customer services provision management and behavioural delicacy which is lacking. Professionalism is extinct and waiting times are as long as the toilet queues as if it were end of a match and crowds were heading home. Car orders are given preference over in-house and waiting times along with mismatched orders is an eventual commonality. Zero for professionalism. Zero for queue mobilisation. Read moreI went today with a work colleague at around 11.15am it was not busy at all ordered coffee and was served by colin I think that was fine my colleagues coffee arrived she took hers and went to sit down I was waiting for mine to be made only to find that the female assistant Elly or Elya was more interested in serving the young man who came after me and was clearly flirting as she knew him or liked him ignoring me and not making my coffee at all and I was made to wait till she served him was so angry as I said are you making my coffee no reply served his as I said she then shouted mine was ready terrible customer service 1st and very last visit here awful service and rude staff god help you if you ever get busy worst service I have ever had at a starbucks...
