My partner and I just love the Food Foundry. Whether you want a relaxing place to have a Saturday breakfast and coffee, popping in for a bite to take away at lunchtime or want something more substantial, this is just the ticket. Everything is beautifully fresh and for those with a sweet tooth, the cakes and pastries counter covers everything from sumptuous cheesecakes and fruit pies whilst allowing the opportunity to rediscover those school time favourites. Who can resist a cornflake cake or a hot pudding with custard? Everything has been well thought out - the decor, and evolving menus, plus, it's bang on trend with the full 'green Monty' when it comes to packaging and cutlery. This place is fantastic, the transformation that Mark and Josh have done to this place has been amazing! From the start the food has been excellent. We regularly visit the food foundry several times a week for our lunch - usually getting jacket potatoes for our staff and they are soooo good! Always great to talk to the owners and Mel when I’m there. They put on their daily specials on social media which is a great idea and can preorder over the phone for collection.
