Went in yesterday with my friend. The landlord is lovely! I loved how big the pub is and old style. The cleanliness and attention to detail is outstanding! Very excited to go and visit the pub in the warm weather and sit in the fabulous sun trap with such a lovely view of the bowling green. The customer service is second to none and there were a few down to earth, lovely friendly people...

Great pub, very welcoming lady at the bar, friendly patrons, no nonsense landlord. We were with our 7-month-old and had no problems to bring her in, as we visited during the afternoon.
