My first visit here on an early Saturday evening. First impression was what a lovely presented restaurant and busy too always a good sign. However the front of house greeting was off. We advised we had a table booked and was pointed to a table. Firstly you pay to eat out for a bit of service and a bit of attention am I right? The touch of olives on the table was nice. We ordered a bottle of Malbec which was very nice and we were asked if we had prebooked our table..... already advised this and immediately asked if we were ready to order..... We had only been sat about 5 minutes. This was by the same front of house who I am led to believe is the manager. I'm not sure if there is some sort of language barrier because he either didn't understand my partner or was very distracted. The younger male server was very polite and friendly. The food was mediocre. I had my "go to" starter Mozzarella in Carozza. It came in a bowl, should be on a plate with the source barely touching. Placing in a dish made the breadcrumbs very soggy which ruined it for me. My partner had the muscles. The sauce was delicious, the only criticism is he was provided with two of the smallest pieces of bread we had to ask for extra. Our mains were meatballs and shellfish Spaghetti. Meatballs were warm not piping hot and not sure if home made and my spaghetti was a little too under cooked for my liking. Good size portions I must say. The young female server seemed new maybe her first day. When our plates were cleared our glasses were empty. We weren't asked if we wanted any more drinks or even the offer of a desert menu. I can't say I would visit again.

I recently visited Bellisa Restaurant, and while the ambiance was lovely and the staff was pleasant, my experience took a negative turn due to an unfortunate incident. One of the waiters was preparing a fudge cake for my daughter when he accidentally dropped the entire cake on the floor. Instead of discarding it, the waiter (Thomas) picked the cake up with his hands, placed it back on the plate, microwaved it, and then brought it to us. When I questioned him about this, he lied to my face and immediately offering to bring us a new one. For the rest of our visit, this waiter avoided us and remained silent. When we went to pay, the other waiter apologised on his behalf, and when I asked about the complaint process, I was told to speak with the chef, which didn’t feel like a reasonable solution. This lack of professionalism and customer service left a very bad impression, and I feel the situation was handled poorly. I won’t be returning anytime soon. The photo clearly shows the remnants of the cake where it had fallen. I was sitting opposite the kitchen and watched everything.

As soon you step in into this restaurant you meeting very welcoming staff who are great in their job. They meeting you with smile and they are top class. The atmosphere is very nice. Great Italian music playing in background, interior is very stilish. Food is delicious!!! 😋 i had mushrooms for starter and is amazing!!! Sea bass omg every detail on the plate is perfect food is very fresh and very high standards!! I barely could fit any desert in my stomach but after sitting and listening to great music I try sticky caramel pudding and it just melted in my mouth!! It was the best desert I ever had anywhere!!! Compliments to the chef!! Definitely coming back and bringing my friends over!!! Highly recommended to everyone!!! P.S. sorry if they not perfect as on menu really can’t remember them in Italian language 🙈

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. We waited a staggering 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food, and when it finally arrived, they brought out three incorrect orders. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for our actual food, with one of the waitresses apologising and explaining they were cooking it fresh almost as if our order hadn't even been sent to the kitchen in the first place. She was apologetic.

What made the experience even worse was the appalling behavior of the waiter. One of our group had requested a gluten-free pasta dish due to an intolerance, and the waiter mocked her for it. He repeatedly huffed and sarcastically emphasised "gluten free" while taking everyone else's order, making us all feel incredibly uncomfortable. When we asked to order chips, he mocked her again, saying there would be "no chips for the gluten-free woman." This kind of discriminatory behavior is completely unacceptable and should not be promoted in such a service based industry.

As if that wasn't bad enough, when our food finally arrived, he walked past and muttered “gluten free” under his breath while she was eating. The whole atmosphere felt toxic, and it was clear the waiter was creating a negative vibe in the restaurant. He was shouting across the room to other staff members, clearly displaying his anger and frustrations to all of the restaurant. Making it an uncomfortable and negative atmosphere.

On top of the terrible service, the food was overly salted, and the overall experience was awful. I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially those with dietary restrictions or allergies. The unprofessional and hostile atmosphere made us feel like a burden, and I won't be returning.

I would highly recommend that the manager invests in a customer service and Allergen course for a certain staff member. In this day and age intolerances and allergens are highly important to which all hospitality and catering staff members should be aware of how to treat them professionally and...

Absolutely disgusting place. We booked this for a group booking of 19 people. We waited 20/30 minutes each couple for a drink, having to complain, for then the manager to send more staff up to be solved. We were booked in at 7:30pm, we finally got starters at 8:30pm to find the antipasti sharing board was missing half of the food shown online. We made them aware they were missing 3 items on this board to which they brought out what I can only call a kids portion of what was meant to be flatbreads came as breadsticks and croutons! This was a sharing starter for two and was ridiculous. We had our mains at 9:30pm, with finally our desserts at 10pm. Food took ages and they couldn't handle a group booking obviously. Prior to this booking we were sent a pre order link with prices on which we submitted. As a large group booking we all knew our own food dishes and prices so was aware of what we would have to pay. When paying there was a price increase of £5 on most of the dishes! When questioned we wasn’t honoured the original prices we booked and ordered with. This is absolutely disgusting when already receiving a significant payment from us, this now cost is all an extra £20 per couple. Full of kids as staff and no one wanted to help with the very slow service. Would never recommend this place and will not be visiting again. Awful awful awful!! Not to mention food was bang average for an on...
