KFC Hartshead Moor - M62 Services — Restaurant in Calderdale

Staying at the Days Inn on Hartshed Moor services. Decided for dinner to treat ourselves to a franchised KFC on site. Ordered a party bucket & zinger. Chloe who took the order was professional, friendly & efficient, 5🌟. Whilst waiting in pick up line I noticed two buckets appear almost immediately, with a box of poppers on the service "slide" which was not heated by lamps . They sat there for over 10 minutes. When my number was called, I was served by a different member of staff. I highlighted my concerns about the time the food had been left out. But was not even acknowledged. So I called the server over and asked him to feed back that surely leaving food out for over 10 mins was not the accepted service standard. Again seemed disinterested. Placed the food in an insulated bag, very short walk back to on site hotel. Opened food, and yes, was a mix of luke warm & cold chicken. As you can see from images awful / cold fries. Binned the vast majority of food. Learn from my experience & avoid this KFC franchised outlet. Sadly this is one of the rare negative reviews I've posted. 😢...

One to avoid. Ordering using the screens was fine, although no receipt was printed out. It was fairly busy despite it being late at night and they only had one member of staff on the counter handing out the food. I waited for about 20 minutes for my food and was then told that it would be another 10 minutes because the fryer was not up to temperature. I'd been waiting so long I decided to wait longer. When I got my food they've got to include two of the large fries and I had to ask for them. I was then given one of the fries before the person on the counter went off to answer another query. I called them back and told them I still needed another fries which point they told me they didn't have any large fries but they could give me some small fries instead. I was glad to get the fries but it was chaotic. Person behind the counter was also muttering under his breath the whole time clearly frustrated with the shambolic nature of the place. If I'm driving this way again, I'll probably give this one a miss and cross the road to the Burger King or I'll grab something from...

Very poor in all aspects. The staff seem to think it's a playground. Service was shocking, I was missing part of my order and there was no atmosphere at the service station. I was here with my husband and have been going here for a long time. I must admit that on this occasion everything was wrong, from the member of staff running around like a mad woman to someone claiming to work for the company telling me I couldn't order from the screens as they wanted to empty it yet they had no uniform on. We had already waited 10mins just to be told we could only use the counter. Why not tell us that sooner? Ordered our food and after a long wait we were told part of our order couldn't be fulfilled. We ordered something else and waited what felt like an eternity but finally got our order. I ordered a 14 piece bargain bucket meal which I received only 10 pieces, my chips were everywhere and flat cold. Nothing on this visit was good.
