Kash is an excellent barrista and conversationist. We moved into Cambridge in October and he's been an amazing source of information. We've tried many coffee shops in Cam, this one rates in top 3. Always remembers your favourite coffee shot. Try some of the Tam Tam's. A great addition to Eddington.

Kash doesn’t need to write your name on the cup as he knows most of Cambridge by name. Complementary conversation is served with every drink and the ingera (essentially a flat white accompanied with a slice of zesty orange peel) is an interesting diversion from your usual order.

Now moved within the sports center. Yummy Australian snacks at the new permanent base for Caffinend At University (West Cambridge) sports center. Rather good coffee too. Kash takes contactless as well.

I was concerned about finding good coffee at the Open Eddington on Saturday but had heard, by reputation, of Caf-fiend of Cambridge and went in search. My route explored areas of Eddington that I might otherwise have missed, but eventually I found Caf-fiend at the Archaeological site. It was well worth the walk as the coffee was even better than I had expected. The cheerful barrister served a choice of mocha and with orange, as well as the more usual varieties. He even provided some almond milk. I will be visiting Eddington again to watch the development gradually come alive and pretending it has nothing to do with the...

Probably the best coffee in Cambridge. The right bean, the right toast, but crucially (and I don't understand why baristas in the UK get this so wrong) the right temperature. From his bicycle unit, owner Cash consistently delivers a friendly, personalised service and excellent coffee in Eddington's Market Square (opposite Sainsbury's). People standing by Caffiend inevitably end up talking to each other. It's really a community binding spot through the medium of coffee. What's...
