Let's start by saying the pizza is good!! Really well made and a decent size. We can't fault the chefs at all.

However after looking at other reviews it appears the same issue keeps arising...quite literally. Black soot from the pizza oven seems to be coming out of the ventilation and landing on our clothing, table, skin and napkins. Initially we thought a pen had burst as my partner had black smudges on her hands, elbows and on her blazer and neck, however after assessing the situation we noticed lots of soot dropping all over the surroundings.

We approached the member of staff behind the counter to make a complaint and the reaction was 'Oh we know', and pointed to their marked clothing. We assumed they would have made other arrangements for the sitting, or told us they were aware of the situation and they're working on it, however they found it almost comedic and not at all sympathetic.

We asked for the pizzas to go and they didn't take the service charge off the bill even though there was no service at all. We didn't expect the pizzas for free however an apology would have meant a great deal. When we received the pizza to go, the pizza wasn't cut and the Burrata topping was handed to us in it's packaging. Sadly we finished off the evening eating the pizza in our car.

Sadly we'll be dry cleaning the damaged garments.

We are hoping this will be resolved soon as the chefs...

treated it like a small cafe, but a restaurant. The pizza was okay, and the bathroom was good size, but the service was below standard. waited ten minutes for water and dessert. Needed to ask twice for tap water and and only got the bill after asking for dessert—it felt like they wanted me to leave. The tiramisu was unusual; I prefer the Italian ones on Mill Road. No napkins were given with the dessert. The rosé was super sour; maybe that's just the type? My plate was taken away without asking if i had finished. Waitress didnt ask me if i needed a receipt after payment. She just left. I hadn't even finished my drink, and I am 100% the waitress saw me head to the bathroom. Of course My table got cleared after i used the toilet for two minutes. The whole place felt a bit smoky which was fine by me. Overall, I don't recommend it and...

Had a terrible experience at this establishment. We're local and gave it a go for an early evening dinner of Pizza. The waiting staff are friendly, but the kitchen got my wife's order incorrect. The 'Manager' expected me to continue with my meal while they correct the other. This changed to eat that one while we make the other pizzas after declining the fix, was I expected to eat two pizzas? I found the 'Manager' out of line in his forceful attitude and the one food preparer who kept looking out of the window in our direction, out of line this behaviour, did he think he would intimidate me with his constant glaring. These establishments need the local support out of season, good luck. You lost this local and his family. The Pizza was mediocre at best, maybe our meal was sabotaged going on other reviews,...

Been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions, the pizzas are amazing. Honestly the best in the area. But a few things took away a star. 1. I saw the serving waitress playing around with the pizza before serving it, without wearing any gloves or any evidence of washing her hands before touching the food . 2. Another serving waiter went from working on the tills, touching all sorts of screens and picking rubbish off the floor, then with unwashed hands - grabbed salads from the containers and plated it to serve to a customer. 3. They don't provide cutleries by default, and you have to ask. I am sure other kitchens do the same thing when you eat out, but I would appreciate some consciousness to the fact that it's an open kitchen - we can see everything...

La Pizzica have brought something really special to the neighbourhood, a true slice of Italy. You can tell they do things the proper way - with passion, pride, and high standards. The attention to detail is spot on, and you can feel how much heart they put into it all. Marco’s love for pizza is unmistakable, and it shines through in the flavours and perfect crusts. The starter platter is my absolute favourite: fresh, generous, and totally delicious. The burrata, grilled veg, and that warm, herby flatbread… They’ve also brought some much needed life to the square with a charming outdoor seating space that gives it a real Mediterranean street vibe. If you’re after genuine Italian hospitality and food that makes you smile then this is the spot.
