THEY WRITE DOWN YOUR BANK CARD DETAILS! Found out this evening while making my takeaway order over the phone that they write down your card details and then process your payment through the card machine after you have hung up.

I placed my order then wanted to pay by card, I was then asked for my card details which I gave over the phone. At this point I realised I hadn't been told how much my order was so I asked. The staff member told me to wait as she worked it out. I asked how she just processed my payment if she didn't know how much it was? Then she told me she had wrote my card details down on paper. I thought they had been put straight into the card machine as it should be done. I was passed onto a male superviser who asked me if I wanted to cancel the order and pick it up instead and pay on arrival. I pointed out this would make no difference as you have already got my card details written down on paper. And the whole idea of a takeaway was so I didn't leave my house.

This is against Payment Card Industry Directive on Security Standards. Card details should be kept private and should not be written down. I did not give permission for my personal details to be written down. I do not know that they will follow the requirements to safeguard my details and dispose of them accordingly.

Ther supervisor told me he strongly suggests I cancel my card and get a new one. This indicates to me that my details on a peice of paper are not safe and are not going to be disposed of correctly, or why else would I have to cancel my card?

I was told all ther customers pay this way, well I am sure they are not aware they are writing down ther bank card details. This is not good practise and I am sure others would not be happy either.

Visited here with my wife and two friends for dinner. Have been usineg the Jasime since the late 80's and throughout the 90 was a go to place for us as the food was always excellent. times move on and for whatever reason we started to eat in many different restaurants. It has been quite some time since we visited so we were happy to go and see what it was like now. Friendly greetings on arrival and lovely to see ladies on the waiting staff. The staff in fact were excellent so friendly and chatty and nothing was too much trouble.. The food.. well its still incredible and good value and lovely portion sizes. Popadoms, starters and mains for four of us together with drinks coming in at under £25 per head. This place has always had a loyal following of clientele and we will be one of them again from now on....

I went tonight for my 8yr old's birthday, and it was honestly the best Indian I've eaten in years! I'm pescatarian and there were plenty of veggie and fish options as well as mild options for my daughter. Cooking time was reasonable. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the little extra treat they gave my daughter. I was happy to pay the very reasonable prices. I marked atmosphere down just because we were the only people there, but I would definitely return....
