Original Dessert Company — Restaurant in Cannock Chase

Ordered from here the other day. Was sceptical as I am hard person to please when it comes to desserts but I must say from the moment I entered the premises I could instantly feel a comfortable laid back vibe. The staff were super friendly, looked extremely clean, professional and nothing was too much trouble!! I used to use another dessert/ sweet shop just up the road a little way (I won’t mention any business names as I’m not a fan of slating other companies but after a rather rude dealing with the owner of the shop and after tasting the day and night difference in the quality in the food that The Original Dessert Company offers, It will definitely be my new weekly dessert takeaway place. Wouldn’t even give this 1. My daughter and her partner ordered the valentines special , 2 milkshakes and 2 cookie dough. As advertised there was ice cream in the picture , when it arrived no ice cream. I rang and the person didn’t know what I was talking about and said someone would call me. They didn’t. I then contacted them on Facebook. I was told that this special didn’t include ice cream as cookie doughs normally would. No mention of this at all on the advert. I was just offered a couple of scoops of ice cream. I mean seriously ? Am I just going to go in for that? And who eats cookie dough without ice cream. I shall and my daughter take our custom else where. Terrible...

We’re to begin I have used this place many of times at first when they opened they were great excellent service couldn’t fault at all. The deserts was worth the price you paid. But since they have gained their customers they have changed attitude to wards customers and the passion has gone when doing the desserts. The desserts they do are not worth nearly £10 a crepe portions size is terrible and then to be cold when delivered aswell. The cheesecake is frozen then stuck in the microwave.
