Seasalter Fish Bar — Restaurant in Canterbury

Ordered a delivery at 6.20pm on a Friday. Food turned up 45 minutes late (1 hrs 40min total at just after 8pm). When it arrived all the chips were wet and steamed from being sat in the bag for so long. They were luke warm at best.

The fish (cod) was inedible, what should have been a nice big crispy hot cod was infact a tiny, majorly overcooked, cold scrap which had been throw around in the box and its batter fallen off. I've attached a photo of this.

I phoned to ask if there was any chance of maybe swapping the fish but didn't get that far. After the phone was picked up they asked my address, after telling them, they instantly put the phone down on the counter and left me on a call by myself. They knew the food they sent was awful and the phone was then off the hook until closing at 9.30pm.

I can forgive and understand being busy on a wet Friday night but the sheer lack of service and procedure to just ignore phone calls has no excuse.

Never really had too many issues apart from the odd missing items of food which really i suppose i should check before leaving the premesis, however the new online ordering is a farce, ordered dinner for 6 of us to collect on the way home after a busy day with young kids, get there to find they have no idea about the order which i had already paid for, eventually they found it and we waited another 15 minutes for it, get home to find my youngest daughters small plain sausage was missing, no cheese in the burgers that were ordered with cheese and then were thrown together, dry and overcooked...so all in all a terrible experience and as we live 3.+ miles away no...

Absolutely appalling behaviour from the “boss” of this place. We ordered through Uber Eats and our order never came. We were told that the driver had delivered it and we’ll need to wait for him to call us because he’s “the boss”. He called me and then proceeded to argue with me on the phone that he had delivered it to my daughter at the address mentioned. I don’t have a daughter and the order was not with me obviously. He was extremely rude and disrespectful and didn’t listen to sense when I said I don’t have my food and that he had delivered to the wrong address. Avoid at all costs, it’s really not...
