The menu looks suspiciously like standard pub food ... fish and chips, Thai green curry, you know the genre. But when you walk in, you see a board of specials and realise that there's real cooking happening here. Fish and chips was hand made real chips, home made tartar sauce and a big bit of cod in, yup, hand made batter. Fresh peas. Really. Sea bream with mash was excellent, with loads of garlic green beans and a creamy fresh sauce. The creme brulee was beyond exceptional. We're all well used to seeing a tiny pot of solid stuff, prepared yesterday and now fridge- solid, limp onto the table as a disappointing finale, right? This place brings the brulee of your dreams to you. Cracking a satisfyingly caramelised top into splinters of crackle, you get into a silky, creamy, comforting pudding, served correctly, at room temperature, that is so good that you want it to go on and on. And it does! The portion is huge. (I still scoffed the whole lot myself.) Worth shifting up the coast from hipster Whitstable to this little place. Unpretentious, simple, excellent food, carefully cooked from fresh and at super reasonable prices. Update....came back and ate more food. Lentil tart, sea bream, excellent. They were friendly to doggo too.

My wife and myself visited for a meal and drinks to cellerbrate our 43rd wedding anniversary. Harry served us drinks and took our order. I did mention that I had certain allergies and was dairy and lactose free, so he spent quite a bit of time making sure that what ever I ordered was appropriate for my diet and even came back to tell me that he'd spoken to the chef and it was suggested that I change one item, just to play extra safe, which I very much appreciated. Our starters and main courses were cooked to perfection and our deserts followed on, completeing the perfect celebration and hence all I can give Harry and he's team is nothing short of the perfect afternoon which we will remember for a very long time. Harry, many thanks and much appreciated

Popped in for Sunday lunch for a change as the mains we've had in the past few times we're not good. We had the usual Giant King prawns tempura. As usual 2 medium ones. I ordered the roast Lamb Sis ordered the roast belly pork just yorkies and roast potatoes. The crackling was only part crackle rest was leather. Both sets of roast potatoes were hard on the outside the knife had trouble getting through. The Lamb was good as was the pork. My cauliflower, broccoli carrots and cabbage was very al dente. Ordered sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee for desert. Not a lot or taste to the sticky toffee pudding. Creme brulee had a crunchy top but the custard seemed bitty so possibly a powder mix.

Food was really lovely. Tasty and great ingredients. Good sized portions and wide range with South East Asian focus.

We had 2 servers - one chap was polite, efficient and professional. The other youngster could benefit from some all round basic waiter training.

We would have had desert if the service had not been so very slow. We took 3 hours to have 2 course and make payment and were prompt in giving our orders when asked. A couple of dishes such as the bread were forgotten and it was disappointing that on a Saturday night 2 of the 3 bitters were not available.

The extremely lively Saturday night party in the adjoining main bar area generated so much noise and commotion that we could not hold a conversation at our table and found it incredibly distracting. In fact one diner we met on our way out, took her meal to a bench outside because the karaoke and shouting was...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The Oyster Pearl Bar & Restaurant in Seasalter. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive — the service was excellent.

We ordered a few of the Asian-inspired dishes, and they were absolutely incredible. You could taste the authenticity and care in every bite, the chef (who we understand is Asian) clearly brings real expertise and passion to the kitchen. The flavors were fresh and beautifully balanced and the presentation was just as impressive.

It’s rare to find a place where both the food and the service are outstanding, but The Oyster Pearl absolutely delivered. We’re already looking forward to coming back and will be recommending it to friends and family...
