The only pub that has ever given us a standing ovation as we left on the bus back to Whitstable (I think that was a positive 🤣) Our 12 year old says the best pub ever! The Butcher's Arms fully deserves it's OG status. Yorkshire crew says thank you Martin, Northern John, Blakey, Welsh/Stoke Rylan, Honey Couple and the rest of you lovely people for the warm welcome and great beer, we will be back once you've found us a campervan spot ;

What an amazing experience! The landlord & lovely locals could not be more welcoming. From letting me sample their beer to the hilarious craic we had, we loved it and they made our day!!! Great local ales are their speciality along with the most eclectic mix of decor that has to be seen to be appreciated, we can’t wait to come back again - what a gem! Thanks guys!

Legendary? It must be getting close to that title by now. Hugely influential spot. Well served beer, ace landlord and good local vibe. Probably the busiest of the three pubs in the village :)

The original Micropub which started a revolution.

Tiny but hugely convivial inside. The pub is decorated eccentrically with all manner of things hanging from the ceiling e.g. rubber chickens...

The customers were all very enthusiastic about their pub and it's easy to see why. The beer was excellent and the pub one of the cosiest in the country.

Good for real ale and real cider drinkers. Bad for lager drinkers and coach parties.

There's a cheap public car park...
